What a perfect stay! I was warmly received when I arrived late at night after my flight into Narita. The hosts and staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the inn and room (river view) are beautiful. The food was delicious! This is the first place I’ve ever stayed in Japan, and I will definitely be back again soon.

It was one of the best omotenashi hospitality at its best . The attention to individual needs including accessibility for seniors was outstanding while providing the utmost in careful attention to beauty such as fresh flowers arranged by the proprietress herself , artwork of the area , and superb culinary experience has made this one of the best property I have stayed in my life if 71 years .
14 miles from Suntopia World in Tagami, Suehirokan provides accommodations with access to an open-air bath. Offering free private parking, the 3-star ryokan is 16 miles from Niigata Station.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at these traditional Japanese-style accommodations. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath, plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
This was our best stay at a Ryokan. The serene surroundings, beautiful facilities, and amazing staff who took wonderful care of all our needs. They also catered exceptionally well with wonderful local ingredients for our half vegetarian half non-vegetarian family. AMAZING!
A perfect Onsen in a lush Forrest next to the Sumon river. The different Onsen with public and private ones are fantastic, all of them with outside bath. The rooms are nicely designed and renovated with balcony and all needed amenities. The food (Kaiseki) is delicious, the host is very helpful (in English if required).
Rankeisou is a genuine Japanese Inn, a local gem for one unforgettable experience! Everything was perfect for our last night in Japan, from the greeting to the onsen and finishing with a multiple course dinner, my wife and I felt great! Thank you once again to our host that had the patience to sit with us and tell us more about the place and culture. We
will definitely visit again.
Beautiful building in a beautiful location, extremely nice and helpful staff, and the food was excellent, too. The onsen were smaller than they had looked in the pictures, but it was a bliss to be in the outdoor onsen, surrounded by snow.
Wonderful garden, listening to the river flow, fabulous hosts (speaking English very well), great food with local specialties, and a number of options for a relaxing onsen bath
