I had a pleasant experience at this hotel overall. The staff were incredibly friendly, fluent in English, and always ready to assist with any questions or needs. The hotel also offers discounted breakfast options for guests, which is a nice touch. The room was slightly more spacious than what you'd typically find in Japan, and it was very comfortable. Plus, there's a Family Mart and a laundromat right nearby, making it convenient for any quick errands or laundry.

The owner went out of her way to make it a great experience. Authentic and old Japanese house with a tiny but excellent bar and cool jazz tunes make a great ambience.
The rooms are unique and comfortable and there's a kitchen available to use also.
The best stay during the whole three week trip. I liked it so much that I booked a further three nights and look forward to returning one day.
It's a two minute walk from Deyashiki Station which is on the main rail line for Kobe and Osaka.
Perfect.

Unfortunately this was a very small onsen town that most people wouldn't visit but because of that the staff were incredible as they weren't used to non japanese tourists. They bent over backwards to help us and inform us of how things work.
The room had a large window overlooking the river and it was very zen watching the sunset.
The private onsen was wonderful and i couldn't recommend the experience enough. If you want to get off the beaten track i would recommend this place as a great reset after a hectic japanese schedule.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
Kaneyoshi Ryokan gives you the 'Japanese sleeping experience' with tatami room, tea, and a public bath. At the height of summer, no one was using the bath, so I had it to myself. The ryokan's location is fantastic for enjoying the night life of Doton-duri street. The staff are concerned for guests and were patient and thorough in explaining everything we wanted to know.
The Room was Ryokan inspired and comfortable and clean.
The onsen was relaxing and a great plus of this location and the complementary drinks and food where a nice touch too.
The surroundings are lively and full of restaurants .
Great onsen! Nice and warm sauna and hot spring. Also there are massage chairs and milk dispensers. Nice private facilities as well. Rooms are nice with a nice tatami smell.
Really comfortable room - we loved the tatami flooring and futons, and the layout was great with the separated window room looking out over the river. Comfiest pillows of the whole holiday (we stayed in 5 hotels over 3 weeks).
The location was ideal, though maybe not great if you have children with you.
The onsen was fabulous - I am quite heavily tattooed and they had no problem with it all, so it was the only onsen I had the opportunity to use during my holiday.
Location is fantastic, just minutes away from Dotonburi, and the actual ryokan is very clean, has many amenities as well as an authentic Japanese experience for the cost. They also provide Yukatas, and have your futon set up for you which is a big plus.
Of course the onsen, but also the breakfast room, which looked very friendly and open. The breakfast itself was very good as well, especially nice as it was a traditional breakfast - as well as traditionally served. The room was nice, but of course traditionally small as a Japanese room with futons. We got exactly what we expected as a "typical Japan experience"
We wanted to experience a ryokan so booked this place. It wasn't quite what we had imagined since it's a huge place. The rooms are very large and had futons that were laid out at night. We opted for the traditional breakfast in the morning, which was fine though not extraordinary. The location is good, on the canal just across the street from a lively area with tons of restaurants and shops.
Absolutely lovely stay in an authentic ryokan. The welcome treats, yukata (bathrobe), and bath slippers provided were sweet, homey touches. The in-house onsen was a great way to end a long day and unwind.
Excellent location, had view over Dotonburi River which was stunning at night! Very comfy futons, large room for two people, tea and yukata nightwear provided, good sized bathroom, working AC, fridge for keeping drinks/food cool, lifts worked well, everything very clean and staff friendly! Not a bad thing to say, the perfect stay in a ryokan style room and at an excellent price!
