What an experience! So glad we went. Great service, amazing osen, incredible meals, beautiful grounds. Next time we'll do 2 nights instead of just one. Also–very close to a special Buddhist temple, also as old as Hoshi (1,300 years) dedicated to Guan Yin/Kanon, called Natadera Temple. Overall very special.

B&B MIKAWA - Kanazawa Fish Harbour, hotel in Kanazawa

B&B MIKAWA - Kanazawa Fish Harbour offers accommodations in Kanazawa, 14 miles from Kanazawa Castle and 14 miles from Kenrokuen Garden.

Sasa the owner and Annie the manager went out of their way literally and figuratively to ensure we had a wonderful experience in Mikawa despite the unseasonable cold and wet weather. They drove us to Sasa's friend's restaurant and joined us for a FABULOUS 7 course seafood dinner that Sasa specially ordered. When Sasa learned my wife is allergic to wheat and soy sauce, he left the restaurant and went and bought a gluten-free sauce and brought it back to restaurant to be used for dishes he ordered for my wife! We experienced a couple of mishaps a few days before arriving that diminished our spirits. With many thanks to Annie and Sasa, our spirits were lifted by the best meal and evening spent of our 21 day trip. We will rave about Sasa, Annie and B&B Mikawa for years to come.
