It is a lovely location in the mountains. A shuttle bus operates only at fixed times: 15.00, 16.00, and 17.00 to pick you up (don't come early like we did)
The onsen are extremely nice. You can choose which one from the 3 hotels you want to use. The fitness room is nice and clean. There is enough choice for breakfast, and you can choose a lot for dinner. You can walk to the waterfall. This place is fine for 2 days. You can go into the mountains, but there are wild bears. There is a small temple.
The view from the room is very nice. We had a lovely time. When you go for dinner, hanging your Japanese outfit in your room(almost everyone does it) is advisable so your clothes don't smell after food. During breakfast, don't wear your Japanese outfit :). The beds are good. The room is spacious, and all comfort is available

Breakfast was superb. Very delicious. I do not remember the last time I ate rice (gohan) so delicious.
The view from windows in the morning was beautiful - a thick layer of snow on rooftops and on the side of the mountain rising up sharply. Hot springs were great too.

Service. We were wow-ed by the service right at the moment we parked our car, a staff immediately came to gather our luggages, and then escort us to our rooms after check-in. The room was big beyond our expectation. Onsen leaves a smooth feeling skin.
