Amazing location! Perfect for family with kids. We were upgraded to a partial ocean view room with direct access to the garden, and the kids loved being able to go easy outside and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. The nice sandy beach was great for the kids and the lagoon was spectacular, full of beautiful fishes! Staff were friendly and very helpful. I requested a mini fridge in the room and they also provided me with a microwave once I arrived. That was very helpful as we were travelling young kids. They also have laundry available. Oh and the food and drinks..so good!! Highly recommend we will be back.

This resort is really wonderful. We had an ocean view room, which was wonderful. The rooms are really well appointed and clean; functional as well given that this is a beach resort. The landscaping of the resort is outstanding. There are different pools and the beach, of course. The "adult" pool also works for lap swimming and is not so busy. There were always enough deck chair to use at the pools and beach and the service is generally very good, with friendly and helpful people. A highlight is really the sunset, which can be watched from the beach, the restaurants and bar, or just from a chair.
We had a massage (mine was OK, my wife really liked hers), took a canoe/snorkling trip and I took a SUP class. The water classes were great and easy to book. The gym is great, with indoor and outdoor section.
There are two main restaurants. The canoe house is amazing. Truly great Hawaiian and fusion cuisine, really well executed with great service. While it is expensive it is worth the money - maybe save some wine pricing by the glass for quite ordinary choices. The Halani/Ha Bar place is good but - like in all of the area - the prices are elevated to a silly level ($30 for a burger with so so fries). There is also a market that makes sandwiches and such and is great, with long opening hours.
Service attention was great. We were asked for our departure plans and shared that we would be leaving after lunch. The hotel offered late checkout on their own Initiative.
Kaupulehu
Located along the Kona-Kohala coast of Hawaii Island, the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai features even swimming areas, five dining options, and ocean views. An 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature Hualalai Golf Course is on site. Rooms offer a flat-screen TV. We loved everything at the Four Seasons Hualalai Resort on the Big Island: the staff, the golf course, the spa, the paddleboarding, poolside with yummy free treats, the hotel itself and the restaurants. Miller and Lux, Tyler Florence's restaurant was off seriously off the charts. We even were seated next to a well known celebrity and his wife which was fun to see, but we did not disturb them. Dinner at the Beach Tree with the Luau was outstanding. Dinner at Sushi and Robata was also excellent. 10 out of 10!

The staff was AWESOME!!! The room was incredible!! Great views, super clean, and very cozy. A million times better than a resort. I’m telling all my friends about Kona Tiki hotel, and can’t wait to go back. MAHALO
The tiny house is beautiful, well set and private. Everything is clean and functional. Surrounded by nature and great vue of the ocean. Host were friendly and discreet, easy access to the house and communication. A great choice if you don't want to be in a resort like accommodation.
The condos are huge. Think early 90s luxury. The AC works really well and there are plenty of pools to choose from so it was never crowded. Location was good if you have a car. 15 minutes drive to old Kona town. Also very close to the Manta Rays snorkel area, which is 10 minutes walk away. It looks like the main drawcard of this resort is tennis and pickleball, because they have a massive number of courts which are very well maintained.
It’s exceptional. Far exceeded my expectations. It’s not clear in the description that you have full use of the rest of the Hilton resort which is just brilliant.
The view from an oceanfront room was the best part of this resort by far. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lagoon was cool, but obviously packed with it being 3 different Hilton hotels sharing the same lagoon. If you choose to go to a luau, then there's one on the resort property, which was nice as well. Outside of the view, the room was okay.
The location was great and can’t beat the price we just needed an easy night stay and so a resort/hotel would have been outrageous. This is a home share private bedroom in a condo complex. It was super clean and the entire apartment was really nice, open and clean. The host was kind and did give us space she wasn’t in the home most of the stay.
I stayed in room 237. The resort stay was tremendous I had a great time staying and loved being treated respectfully and the facilities were amazing. Especially the pool, felt amazing and had an amazing view to the ocean.
This was my second stay and we were here for 3 nights. The room is quite large. The balcony was overlooking the ocean and was a lovely sight to wake up to each morning. The resort restaurant had some of the best food and cocktails I’ve ever had. The rock pool for swimming had a lot of fish so it was a nice place to snorkel. The hotel is in a central location and easy to get to everything in Kona.
