Newly built hotel owned by a Norwegian couple. Very few reviews for hotel available just because it opened two months ago. Very tasty food - our absolute favorite was grilled sea food platter or tuna tataki, though everything else we ordered was amazing as well. Great service and the view. We will definitely come back!

Breakfast was a treat of fresh fruit and then a choice of cooked food. All food was beautifully prepared. The rooms were a few steps from the sandy beach and sea. The swimming pool is a good size. The staff were amazing and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The breakfast is so wonderfully presented and tastes amazing, everything I ate during my week stay was delicious. Zen is a very special place and I can’t wait to come back and see my Zen family.

Small and Intimate, Yet Exquisite Karibu Beach Resort is a boutique hotel with only about 15 rooms, which creates an intimate, peaceful atmosphere. The resort has the feel of a private paradise, far from the typical overcrowded tourist spots. Despite its size, the service here is nothing short of 5-star quality. Every member of the staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Delicious Fresh Food The food at the hotel is amazing. The restaurant offers a variety of fresh, flavorful dishes, and the menus are prepared to order. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every meal was made with care, using fresh local ingredients. The breakfast spread is especially noteworthy, with a great selection of fruits, eggs, and traditional Zanzibari dishes. Each meal is tailored to your preferences, and you can tell the chefs take great pride in what they prepare.
