Newly built hotel owned by a Norwegian couple. Very few reviews for hotel available just because it opened two months ago. Very tasty food - our absolute favorite was grilled sea food platter or tuna tataki, though everything else we ordered was amazing as well. Great service and the view. We will definitely come back!

From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I was cared for exceptionally by Sarah and her staff. They couldn’t have been kinder to me, I felt incredibly sad to leave. The breakfast is so wonderfully presented and tastes amazing, everything I ate during my week stay was delicious. Zen is a very special place and I can’t wait to come back and see my Zen family.

Delicious Fresh Food The food at the hotel is amazing. The restaurant offers a variety of fresh, flavorful dishes, and the menus are prepared to order. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every meal was made with care, using fresh local ingredients. The breakfast spread is especially noteworthy, with a great selection of fruits, eggs, and traditional Zanzibari dishes. Each meal is tailored to your preferences, and you can tell the chefs take great pride in what they prepare.
