Sandim
At the resort the rooms come with air conditioning, a wardrobe, a patio with a mountain view, a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, bed linen and towels. Rooms have a coffee machine, while some rooms also boast a balcony and others also feature pool views. All rooms will provide guests with a fridge. It was a beautiful place. Some cabins are equipped better than others but overall a nicely done compound.

The apartment was beautiful, the view amazing and the hosts were very kind and always available. I worked remotely from the flat and it was great! Thanks again Vitor and wife! :) We would definitely come back!

Each room is air conditioned, equipped with satellite TV channels, a minibar and includes en suite bathrooms with hairdryer. Great location, right by the beach. Pizzeria near by serving great food. View from the balcony was good, could see out onto the pool and beach.
Viana do Castelo
The pet-friendly Quinta São Francisco Rural Resort - Regina Hotel Group has an outdoor swimming pool, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Outeiro. Boasting family rooms and a house, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The first impression when we got there was that we were at the wrong place. The entrance is beautiful but since there wasn’t anyone there it felt strange. But our host had left me a message with check in video instructions. The room and the dining room was so beautifully decorated. We had a great and restful night. The breakfast was delicious. And we such a wonderful view of the full moon.

Beautiful and comfortable "luxury" hostel with many common areas, in city of town. Had the best sleep since travelling in Europe, thanks to the airy rooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully equipped and super handy. The individual pods were very private, with own lighting and fan. Hostel was super clean and the garden was just amazing to relax with drinks from their bar.

The house is simply exceptional. Complete luxury and no detail is missing. Out-of-the-box facilities on one floor. Next year, which they told us, will have a swimming pool, it is a place to get away or even for 10/15 days
A very luxury place - very comfortable bed, nice towels, and a very complete kitchen. Lovely outside area with amazing views. I wasn't feeling well when we arrived, so it was really nice to relax there. Easy parking and access. The town centre is just a short walk, although the property is in the countryside.
One of the best stops the Camino Portuguese! We got to Ponte de Lima soaked after walking 33 km in the rain. The lady at the reception was kind, helpful, understanding and welcoming. The room was clean and warm, spacious and nicely decorated, the kitchen fully equipped. We were able to wash and dry our belongings. That was a pure luxury. The place is centrally located in the old town. Perfect place to stay in!
Amazing experience, right in the middle of the old city center. The hotel used to be an old family house, that got turned into a university, then into a luxury hotel. beautiful, packed with historic details.
Really charming small hotel. Every detail attended too. Not glam and luxury, but old world charm and quality. Very nice hosts. And it is right in the centre of the town, so everything is in easy reach. Surprisingly - even on a Sunday - the next door church bell wasn’t even bothersome.
Both the place and service level was that of a 5-star luxury resort. Very beautiful and modern property, with spacious common areas. They have a gorgeous pool surrounded by nature, and they are building a spa and indoor pool. We notice that even the little things like coffee machine and pots were from a good brand. They did not spare any expense to make their guests feel comfortable. The service from Anna was impeccable, she was welcoming and helpful with suggestions.
Feel home small hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. Top location in Foz do Douro, with authentic and not as touristic atmosphere compared to Porto city and beach resort Matosinhos. Fantastic sea view from the room’s balcony. Many excellent restaurants nearby (A Capoeira, Casa da Rocha, Cepa Torta, O Balcao do mercado…)
Great location, clean rooms, all you need for perfect price. Of course it is not a luxury resort, but small probably family run business in a older building. I felt very welcomed and comfortable for that price.
