Surrounded by Lake Rotorua, On The Point -Lake Rotorua is a luxury retreat featuring spectacular views to Mokoia Island. Guests can enjoy fine dining in the restaurant or indulge in a massage or treatment at the day spa. Exceptional location, service, with friendly welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time in New Zealand. Everything was immaculate and so well done. Getting to pet the ponies and sheep and donkeys while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake was a bonus!

Guests can enjoy use of the BBQ facilities, fish from the shores or park their boat and relax after a day on the water. Serenity area, beautiful and cleaned unit we stayed. Cleanliness, space, comfort, amenities. The room as well as the bathroom was big and a bonus was the outdoor private seating area

VR Rotorua is enriched in ethnic history. It is at this location where the First Māori settlement was established in the region by Ihunga and his dog. Set on 6 acres on the shores of the beautiful Lake Rotoiti, VR Rotorua Lake Resort is located is just 15 minutes drive from Central Rotorua. This lakeside hotel is very lovely and the lake view from the room and dining room was picturesque. The room was large and comfortable with French doors to the lawn and lake. The restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. The parking was very convenient.

Didn’t like anything at the resort.
Beautiful resort on Lake Rotorua. Very peaceful. The view of Lake Rotorua at both sunrise and sunset was magnificent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable.

Great resort, perfect for families. Reception staff were awesome, units were very comfortable, the kids loved the pool and the spa!
Classy Colonial luxury.
Great facilities around the resort and activities for kids; free mini-golf, pool, tennis and table tennis. 5 mins drive to downtown, Redwoods, supermarket - a great base to explore Rotorua. Great space in the luxury one-bed apartment for a family of 4 (two young children). Very attentive staff.
This resort had everything we needed for a family getaway, my family enjoyed the tennis court and mini-golf, our Luxury room spa was absolutely huge! We had 2 nice and big TV's, the space in the one bedroom luxury apartment was generous, such a peaceful resort we will definitely be staying here every time we visit.
