River Park International Resort is a fantasting place to stay if you are ever in Chitwan. The staff and managers were very hospitable and kind to us. They arranged an amazing bonfire and a traditional Tharu dance for us. We could also observe the wildlife (rhino, elephant, deer) right from our hotel balcony. It was a beautiful experience and I highly recommend it.

Banbas is a hidden gem! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was stepping into the national park. The property is right outside the national park, but it genuinely feels like part of it. The pond and wetland are teeming with life—100+ bird species, fish swimming around (a staff noted that fish are fed with waste food from the hotel kitchen!), and even a waterfall in the pool area. It’s so peaceful! The rooms are villa-style, super comfortable, and have amazing views of the pond. I loved the Tharu-style artwork in the decor—such a nice touch that celebrates local culture. The property is also wheelchair-friendly, which I really appreciated. The staff was fantastic—welcoming me with drinks and flowers at check-in. The food was a perfect mix of local and international dishes, and everything felt thoughtfully curated. Can’t wait to visit again!

Staff at the resort are available to provide advice at the 24-hour front desk. The place is gorgeous, rooms are very nice and clean and the garden is beautiful, a really good place to chill or work. The staff were super friendly, they told me all the work that they are doing to foster the local community. They have built a school for local kids and they are empowering Tharu comunity ladies by working at the retreat and showing the local culture and cuisine at the retreat. They also have several initiatives related to jungle and river upkeep and recovery. Great work!!!

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. My friend and I had a spare weekend while in Pokhara and decided to go to Chitwan National Park. It was so easy to book through Booking.com. On arrival to Chitwan we were meet by staff from Landmark and were driven to the motel. Our room was clean and tidy, very spacious and comfy. It was a peaceful and quiet hotel. The staff were very attentive and were always making sure we were happy and comfortable. The Reception staff were so helpful in explaining different types of jungle activities, we always had water or another drink. We were happy with everything.He was very informative, always explaining different animals or places. Highly recommend Canoe trip !! Thanks Landmark...
