I had nothing that I could like at this property. The location is remote with no easy access to food and other facilities. The resort/chalet is lousy, dirty linen, dirty towels, broken bathroom accessories, smelly toilets. There was no food available at the restaurant. I will not recommend this to anyone. If you are staying In Malacca, choose a property closer to the town.
The view is nice but the property needs attractions to bring in customers..staff is friendly but the room stuck in the 80's...swimming pool so and so...food court in-front of the entrance of Tanjung Bidara also depleted and run down...the sign board of the resort also run down. It should cost only RM 60 per night or less instead of RM 100+ per night. If the price per room cost around RM 50 per night and the family chalet cost RM 80 per night, I'm positive people will come. The best thing is to demolished the hotel and build new one.
The facility is superb in terms of quality and location - right within the A Famosa complex, just at the entrance. The hotel is new and the rooms are large and comfy. There are plenty of parking places available and the place does give you a resort vibe. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
We expect too much i think. Location wise is veryy bad since it is very hard to find reataurants or store at night. The room given for us is very far from the lobby, and what’s disappoint us is how the pillow is so smelly & musty for the resort’s standard. The only good thing is how the breakfast selection variety is, and it tastes good especially the scrumbles egg.
the Baba House was a resort like peranakan style hotel that was very relaxing. the staff was friendly and rooms big. it was very clean and loved walking around the place. the rooftop lounge area was good.
