Yakaduru is a lovely place for all ages and is perfect for families, couples, friends, and kids. The staff is very friendly and provided all the necessary things. The variety of experiences must be mentioned. We walked through bush areas with beautiful bird nests, different trees, and rocks. During our safari, we saw elephants, leopards, monkeys, birds, and peacocks. It was a good ride with a lot of fun. Yakaduru accommodations are filled with a traditional vibe and good quality. We even cooked hoppers with the staff and had a great experience. We expect to come to this place next year as well.

Thaulle Ayurveda Resort - Yala ligger ved søen Yoda. Der er stemningsfulde værelser med balkon med søudsigt og gratis WiFi. Absolutely everything. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom was spacious and comfy. The view of the lake from the balcony spectacular. The food from the restaurant was delicious and well presented. The hotel is also close to 3 national parks. We loved the Thaulle Resort and left with heavy hearts. Will definitely stay there again.

Kingfisher Beach Resort -Yala ligger i Kirinda, tæt på Nidangala Strand og 500 m fra Kirinda Strand. Der er balkon med udsigt til haven, have og bar. Shehan was such a welcoming host and couldn't do enough for us. He was very attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed no matter what time of day it was. His cooking is exceptional. Definitely the best food we had during our stay in Sri Lanka. The setting is absolutely beautiful. So tranquil and close to the beach. You can hear the sounds of the waves and see some lovely local wild life. This is a must stay if visiting Sri Lanka!

Hilton Yala is a stunning hotel, newly built and with every detail of the highest specification. Our pool villa was spacious and beautifully designed. The grounds are immaculate and the expansive pool is incredible. The real selling point of this hotel however is the staff and the amazing service. Every single member of staff we encountered on our two night stay was friendly and helpful. You really get a sense of a hotel that want you to have the best stay possible and will go out of their way to make sure that happens. We were lucky enough to go on a morning safari with ranger Praneeth, who was so intent on finding us the elephants we wanted to see that he extended our safari by an hour to ensure it happened ! In the end, not only did we see a herd of elephants but a leopard too. It really is a magical place and we are already planning a return trip.

What an amazing staff! What a site! Amazing facilities - much better than what is mentioned online and the pics depict! Delicious food even for veg folks like me. Staff made all efforts to ensure an extraordinary stay. One of the best places I have stayed in my 23 countries of travel experience.

Er du på jagt efter noget unikt, er dette lige stedet. Det er originalt, anderledes og specielt. Western blandet med 60-ernes hippe (inkl hvad det indebær af sjov tobak til personalet).
