The 5-star Fota Island Hotel boasts an 18-hole championship golf course, a swimming pool and beautifully designed rooms with countryside views and luxury bathrooms. Cork is just 8 miles away. Breakfast and dinner were great! The gardens were lovely and all the staff were extra nice and friendly. we loved the espresso machine in the room.

This stunning, 163 acre estate includes beautiful gardens, a 40-acre lake, and the fantastic Sky Garden crater. Fresh home cooking is provided, and guests can enjoy canoeing on the lake. One of the best hotels I've ever visited. The management is great, the service was excellent and everything in the rooms was top notch. The estate park has a lot of activities, you could spend and entire day just wondering around the property. A place to visit and come back.
