O Fota Island Hotel 5 estrelas dispõe de um campo de golfe de 18 buracos, uma piscina e quartos muito bem decorados com vista para o campo e banheiros de luxo. Cork fica a apenas 8 km de distância. We really enjoyed our stay at Fota island. We were looked after by Beverley who checked us in and out. That girl is an absolute credit to the resort. Very helpful and after what ended up being a very long adventure due to the weather cheered us up and got me and my partner back into vacation mode. Great lady. Pool, sauna and rooms i couldn’t fault. Would 100 percent recommend.

Esta propriedade deslumbrante de 163 hectares inclui belos jardins, um lago de 40 hectares e a fantástica cratera Sky Garden. The estate was beautiful and the grounds around it. Very relaxing but a lot of uphill, although there are trails here and there to take you back to the manor house. We stayed at Lake House, this building was a bit far by foot if you have to walk in the dark but signs were wellplaced. The tiny gym was okay overlooking the lake, very relaxing view even while "running". Everything is locally produced or bought from nearby farms so very fresh produce. The staff were amazing, answering all my questions and never a problem with dietary issues from my side (being lactose intolerant). One of the waitresses from dinner even ran out to the garden to get fresh mint for me when my tummy was upset. Rooms were big in size and bathroom was huge with a big shower and bathtub, spotless at arrival.
