Kuda Laut Boutique Dive Resort features free WiFi throughout the property. We loved our stay at Kuda Laut on Siladen Island. The location for snorkeling is top-notch, as you can swim right off of the beach into water with beautiful thriving coral gardens. We saw more species of coral and fish than we have anywhere else, as 97% of Bunaken Marine Park is underwater. The resort is into sustainability and gives you a free cup of coffee if you collect a bag of plastic. We enjoyed playing pool at the outdoor pool table, as well as long walks around the island. When it is low tide, one can walk all the way around the entire island. A short walk to a nearby pier provides you with a gorgeous sunset every evening. We would absolutely love to come back to Kuda Laut one day.

I saw there big turtles, a lot of colorful fish and coral, and even one lionfish. The owner can also arrange boat tours for snorkeling or diving, as well as transport to Manado. Staff was very kind and helpful, especially Nita. The food was good too.

Sharon, the owner, communicated in a timely manner, answering all questions before we arrived, and then helping with arrangements during our stay via WhatsApp. Irra, who is in charge of the house and restaurant staff, was efficient and conscientious and very kind. She took care of all the details and even arranged for me to accompany her on a shopping trip to a huge market in Bitung on a day I was not able to dive. It is one of my trip highlights. Man, who is in charge of overall operations, and the dive experience, could not have been any more helpful. From arranging the details of our transportation, to taking me, after hours, into Bitung to see a doctor for an ear infection (he made the appointment, guided me to it, and stayed with me to help me figure out what was needed), to directing our dives, he always went above and beyond. You can tell that he takes pride in the operation and is very conscientious about making each guest’s stay a good experience. Fiki, our dive guide, was one of the best I have had. He was excellent at finding all those cool Lembeh Strait critters, and I also always felt very safe diving with him as he was always aware of us in the water, and was encouraging and thoughtful to me, a still slightly uncomfortable diver. The food was delicious—lots of local dishes, lots of vegetables and fresh fish. It is served as a buffet in an open area with a stunning view down the hill and to the Strait. There are a lot of steep stairs up to the dining area, but we did not mind them. The guests shared a table for meals which I really liked, as we met so many interesting travelers. The cabins are spacious, with a deck and a fine view, AC that works well, and your own carboy of water, with both hot and cold-water options.

This was exceptional, from the moment you arrive all staff is there to make sure you have the best time of your life. The rooms are beautiful, especially when you focus on the details and workmanship (beautiful wood, comfortable bed, very nice ingenious shower, a lot of storage space). The house reef is beautiful with very nice coral and a lot of different fish species. The staff is just amazing, very friendly and knowledgable with regards to hospitality. The food was just amazing, Italian Indonesian fusion cuisine with a very refined taste. Also good options for people who eat vegan/vegetarian. The diving here was very nice as well, Randy and Jek, thanks for your kindness and sharing your knowledge while diving. You all are very special.

When you are in the pool they rush to bring you a nice cold ice tea. Food is amazing, they even served eclaires as a dessert :). Big Cottage has a great view, very nice balcony. They wash everything for you, they give you hot towels and cookies after a dive, they have danish pastry, great homemade ice cream, there is a JBL music box in the room, and yes a nice bar.

Thalassa Dive & Wellbeing Resort boasts 1 outdoor pools in the shade of jungle gardens, a restaurant as well as a lounge & cafe. Scuba diving can be arranged on site, while free WiFi is accessible throughout the entire resort. Honestly everything, I loved this place! The big windows in the rooms really puts you in touch with nature, they are spacious, clean and modern. You have AC working perfectly, for ANY question you can easily WhatsApp the members of the staff, the food was amazing every day and even well presented. The swimming pool area was just so beautiful and peaceful. This place was just way above my expectations, if I knew it I would have stayed here more days. And the staff was lovely and extremely kind. If I am back in manado I will certainly stay here no doubts.
