Cocotinos Manado, hotel in Manado

A 25-minute drive from Manado’s Sam Ratulangi International Airport, Cocotinos Manado overlooks Bunaken National Marine Park and is located within Wori Bay in Kima Bajo Fishing Village.

I visited mostly backpacker places on my trip but on the last day I treated myself to this resort. It has a great view of the ocean, clean pool, excellent food, massage service, and a very friendly staff. Everything you need to unwind.

The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful hills and lush greenery. The cabins are beautifully designed, combining modern comfort with a cozy, rustic feel. Everything was new and impeccably clean, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The staff were exceptional friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Kuda Laut Boutique Dive Resort, hotel in Manado

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and a private beach area, Kuda Laut Boutique Dive Resort is set in Siladen Island in the Bunaken Islands, North Sulawesi Region. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.

They upgraded us to a sea view bungalow which was spacious and comfortable. The adjoining bathroom was open to the sky for the shower (the rest had a roof 🙂) It’s a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Indonesia-very quiet at this time of year (end of February) The staff were all very friendly and helpful

Bunaken Sea Garden Resort is located at Pangalisang Beach on the east coast of Bunaken Island. We offer Indonesian-style bungalows in the middle of nature and a well equipped dive center.

Super nice location and staff. We also snorkeled and the reef is very close (100m, 5 min swimming), including turtles!) We also did diving trips with staff from the location. We never dove before, but felt in good hands and first recieved training.

Two Fish Resort Bunaken, hotel in Manado

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and water sports facilities, Two Fish Resort Bunaken is located in Manado in the North Sulawesi Region. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.

The airport pick-up service is really convenient, I will recommend everyone to book this service in advance. It just makes the trip so much easier. The resort provides 3 meals a day, very delicious Indonesian foods and very big portion too. I like this service very much since I have no interest in exploring the town. I was there just for diving. Diving sites are amazing, I think the visibility could be better in Jun, Jul, and Aug.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. So are all common areas so you can take a break from Manado heat at NDC. The pool do the job, you can actually do some swimming workout here. Location is close to Manado, so if you are looking for remote naturę close resort and a white beach choose something else. BUT there is really nice garden and a jetty overloocking the sea, wirh great sunset views. To sum up, 8-9, for the special price we had at booking.com.

Amazing resort for diving and other activities. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean and have large windows, which gives the feeling to be in the middle of nature. The diving equipment, boat and guides are great and allow for excellent diving experience. However, don't miss to do the activities as well. The local guides are really nice people and can tell a lot about the local life and things to see on the tours. We enjoyed our stay very much.

we love the quietness of this remotely located resort! The swimming pool, garden and the jetty are nice... The staff are kind and helpful. The bathroom is unique and the room is big enough for our family of 3 people. They set the sofa into a bed for our teenage boy and he loves it! :)

This is neither a luxury or a budget resort. It is a very good middle ground resort and that is their business niche which is important in that there are several very expensive resorts at one end of the resort spectrum and home stays at the other end. This is positioned right in the middle and perfect for divers that want to experience coral and muck diving. Their motto is leave as a friend and they meet that goal. Staff are great.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff both on the resort and diving center were extremely helpful, and provided a professional service with a smile. The bungalows are tastefully decorated and in good condition. The garden, restaurant, pool area... everything works well. The diving in the area is as good as it gets. Even snorkling you can get really close to the marine life.

Resort has a good common area and nice pools that sets it apart from competition. Good rooms, comfortable beds, no outside noise. Best part was the amazing service and help from the owners. Solving any surprise situation (find a new dive guide when planned one was sick), to cooking personalized food and treat for kids, to shopping for special items (visit 4 supermarkets to find what's asked for)
