All types of accommodation were very private. We had a beachfront bungalow that was very spacious and comfortable. We rode the bikes that were provided which a a great feature. The setting could not have been more beautiful and the staff more accommodating. The breakfast menu had a wide variety of foods to try and other meals were generous and tasty. We would have liked to stay longer and will try and return.

Tamanu Beach is a quiet, friendly, relaxed place to stay, right on a very swimable beach, and with beautiful views. The restaurant was a very short stroll along the beach, where we enjoyed beautiful meals including Island Night, BBQ Night, and breakfasts which included complementary cooked options for guests. The outdoor shower at our villa was so lovely, we used it instead of the indoor shower. There was a mix up with our puck up time upon arrival at the airport due to us changing flights two days out, but that was airly quickly rectified when the airport greeting ladies realised we didn't have anyone there to meet us. If you're staying on Aitutaki, you must do a lagoon cruise. We were picked up by Kia Orana Cruises ftom Tamanu Beach. It was a fabulous day with 10-12 others, many little islands visited, snorkeling and a beautiful lunch.
We are pleased to offer complimentary Starlink internet access in the restaurant and bar area for guests staying with us.

The room was an OK size and A/C and fan worked well. Enjoyed use of the kayaks. The view from the grounds was very nice. Breakfast was a nice selection of cereals, toast, and sweets. Drinkable water was available in the restaurant to refill water bottles. Shower was excellent.
On a white sandy beach beneath coconut palm trees, Paradise Cove offers traditionally thatched self-contained bungalows on the beach front. Each has a porch with sunset views of the lagoon.

We were given a complimentary ride from and to the airport. The beachfront bungalow was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, comfy, and well maintained. We enjoyed walking up and down the beach in the morning and afternoon. We went into the water to escape the mid-day heat. The water was calm and perfect temperature. The restaurant was only open twice a week when we were there, but we didn't try it. There is a take away restaurant about minute or two on foot. We also tried the restaurants in Tamanu resort a few times - about 15 minutes on foot - and the Pacific Resort, about 25 minutes on foot. The grocery stores were too far to walk too. We used the hotel bikes once to explore the island. There is a hiking trail to the highest peak of Aitutaki. The walk to the top was under 30 minutes from the hotel. We enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast which was delivered with a smile to our bungalow every morning. We highly recommend the Kia Orana Cruise to see the lagoons. There were less than 10 of us when we went on the tour. With a small group, we felt like we were the only ones in these little islands.
Travelers who really want to “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. The location of the resort was amazing and exceeded our expectations. All of the staff made us feel welcomed and were very accomodating. The views from our room were spectacular aswell.
The resort setting is beautiful. Private island surrounded by the most amazing lagoon. Location location location.
Staff were friendly and approachable.
Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable.
Location is ideal, the cabins are thoughtfully well appointed. You can snorkel/swim directly from the front of the property, cabin has kitchen & bbq for self catering or a couple of restaurants at resorts either side of the property are a close & easy walk if you prefer to dine out. An electric scooter was also available for guest use with no charge along with kayaks & SUPs. Airport welcome & transfers were seemless & staff were friendly.
This is not a resort , but if you want peace and quiet, all the facilities you need, the best location on the island with good snorkeling and a kayak, then this is the place. Self catering and handy (with transport) to facilities (two minutes to airport). Most people don't know it's there. Helpful owners (off site) but a daily check by friendly and pleasant Ngarie. These comments made after several visits.
Great location. Found the staff friendly and helpful. Good pickup and drop off to airport and also ran us to shop for supplies before checking us in. Also given advice on places to eat locally. Bar open on Wednesday night and a pleasant evening for drinks and lovely meal. This is not luxury accommodation but good value for basic accommodation in a place where other places to stay are pretty pricey
Aitutaki Lagoon Resort is absolutely incredible. It exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The food, the drinks, prices are very reasonable, the accommodation is luxury (we stayed in an Overwater bungalow for 3 nights and a beachside bungalow for 1). The people there are beautiful and made us feel very welcome. The resort itself is incredible and has everything you need, including kayaks, SUP, snorkel gear, bikes. We had the best time here and will be coming back and would recommend it to anyone.
Casual Luxury is the perfect way to describe this lovely family owned resort. The food was the best we had in Aitutaki and Rarotonga. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Casual luxury is exactly what you get . Great location, great food , great service. Nothing was a problem. We spent 7 nights in a Beachfront Bungalow. Room 202 . Although all the bungalows look great and are located well it was worth the extra to be right on the beachfront. Having a beautiful breakfast included is fantastic and with either continental and / or full cooked al acarte it certainly sets you up for the day ! Don’t bother looking elsewhere, Tamanu Beach Resort is where you need to be 😊.Look forward to a return visit soon.
