Everything you can imagine available at the Cottage and the trust of the owner is much appreciated. Rowena and neighbour Wilfred welcomed us warmly. Morning view down to the sea, as the mists clear, is spectacular! Springbok, Steenbok and Ostrich are among the wildlife you begin to see here, along with the variety and abundance of bird activity at the extraordinary Buffels Riverhead!

Zárt parkolóban volt az autónk, de egyébként a környék biztonságos Mi bejártuk a régi réz bánya területét, a helyiek akikkel találkoztunk szintén nagyon kedvesek voltak.

The Beachhouse is absolutely unique in every way. I would recommend it to anyone. Irene, our host, and everything at the Beachhouse makes for a lovey, homely stay.

Located just 5 km from the Vioolsdrift Border Control to Namibia, Frontier River Resort offers a unique escape overlooking the Orange River in South Africa. The grounds and luxury tents were in a nice setting with a lot of seasonal planting upgrades, like their own orange grove, that I would love to return to see in the future. Because the facility is on a hillside, owners were concerned with my walking with a crutch but I managed well. Really enjoyed falling asleep with the tent flaps open so I could look at stars, wake to first sun light and bird song. Everything from bedding to towels and toiletries made me feel like I was in a luxury spa. I really enjoyed the owners young son who was concerned about compression wraps on my legs. He sat me in a chair in front of the tent, went and got my book and kept me entertained until my husband came back from his walk. Such a big heart, full of compassion, in such a small body.

This hotel offers peaceful accommodation in a garden setting with an outdoor pool and tiled terrace. Guests can stay in hotel rooms or in dome-shaped suites with a thatched roof. From the moment you arrive at the property you are spoilt with great views and hospitality. The accommodation was excellent, comfortable stay with everything we needed and beautifully decorated. Dinner was the best we’ve had on our trip, every dish was delicious. Would highly recommend Naries Namakwa Retreat!
