We tried eating out in town and also had a breakfast during one of our excursions and felt cheated by not getting to dine at Safari Moon. Gourmet breakfast is included and the dinners have several choices & are more than worth adding to your stay…..the genuine gift of hospitality exudes from everyone working there almost feeling like family & treating guests like royalty .

The pool was refreshing on a hot summers day, and was so inviting. The duty managers were very welcoming and helpful in booking activities for us in and around Hoedspruit. The hotel is very central, and is within close proximity to excellent restaurants, as well as many private game reserves with options of Morning and evening safaris of which the hotel will arrange and book on your behalf. There are also many other activities to do within and around Hoedspruit. Would definitely recommend, and can't wait for our return! Thank you Khiwane, and your lovely team. Lastly, our breakfast included in our stay at the Harvest House Restaraunt was divine! 10/10, with many options.

The toll roads plazas were a pain but the roads in Limpopo are great. People are very friendly and helpful; Hotel management extremely pleasant, especially Charles lamb, the manager. Inrteracted well with all the guests.
Shangri-La Country Hotel & Spa outside Modimolle and Bela Bela in Limpopo is the only place I would ever consider staying at.
Really a place rich in tradition and culture! People are so warmhearted and welcoming. Despite the humidity and heat, the Limpopo province is definitely one of the most untouched, beautiful provinces in SA.
It was the second time we stayed at the Outpost. For us it is one of the best Lodges in South Africa. We like the open concept of the rooms and the landscape surrounding the lodge. It is just so relaxing being in Kruger without the traffic jams of the south. Maybe there are places to see more big 5 animals but going to the fever tree forest is just unique as have the sundowner on the banks of Limpopo River with the Hippos. If you are looking for a special experience, go there.
The location of the hotel fitted in perfectly with the surrounds and view. That will be my first choice when ever I have to go to that side of Limpopo.

The breakfast was ok. We don’t eat pork or beef. No chicken or turkey options for breakfast.
This was our second stay here. We brought my partner's mum and dad as we loved it so much. The staff were outstanding, the lodge is beautiful and we had an amazing time. The river cruise was the highlight. Special mention to Never and Noel who made sure we were cared for the whole stay. We will definitely be coming back.

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel room was very well equipped with everything one could possibly need. The vistas from the hotel were breathtakingly beautiful. The food was simply delicious and of extraordinary quality. Overall, it was the most amazing stay during our trip in SA.
Perfect staff either in the restaurant as well as into the game drives. Robben was caring perfectly during all our stay, and made it even more special.
Our Guide (Priscilla) and Tracker (Origin) made our stay great. Both so very knowledgeable and truly going out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable and meaningful game drive experience. The room was beautiful and the food was great too. Beautiful spot; highly recommend.
