The food was lovely… the portions are really large though, you need a really healthy appetite to finish them. Also, the staff were really friendly and helpful too. Check-out time is 11 am, that’s a really decent time-we didn’t have to rush to leave which is beneficial because we came to rest. My mom and I had Spa treatments too-the hot stone massage was one of a kind. I honestly have so many great experiences to share about this place. I would give it a 10/10!!!

Pretoria is a bit safer in Gauteng province. Safety is the most important issue in South Africa . Favourite places i visited include the Union Buildings , Brooklyn shopping mall ,visited the museum too . Taxis are easy to access there were plenty in the streets .
Minimal tourist info in town. Useless touirst info at the airport. Not design for backpack travelers as people there will ask you to either take a taxi or book a tour. Easy and fairly safe to walk in different attractions when you are in downtown. Had to spend long time asking people and finally got help in Gauteng Tourism to book a taxi to Maropeng,the cradle of the mankind via Seweto which is nice to visit. Gauteng Tourism moved to 124 Main Street which is opposite the 'Top of Africa'in town. Don't forget to buy souvenir in Rosebank art craft market and dine in Mendela Square in Sandton. Both satellite towns can be reached by Gautrain and bith have more tourists

Increase the number of family rooms as Midred is a suitable place to visit with a family, quiet area for family, is in the centre of almost Cities of Gauteng & not congested as its easy to come in & out of the city without being stuck in traffic.
I was there for tertiary admissions so i didn't get a chance to gallivant. But I've been to Pretoria more than ten times and really like the shopping malls around, and the fact that crime is still much better compared to other cities in Gauteng.
I found service in general to be much more efficient than compared to the Cape and staff everywhere very friendly, from till operating cashiers, to security to cleaning staff. I often hear complaints about atmosphere in Johannesburg but I for one was pleasantly surprised. Lawless taxis jumping red traffic lights, pushing in from forbidden lanes and forcing motorists off the road and having to slam on brakes was a concern though. But that unfortunately happens throughout RSA, not only in Gauteng.
Staying in Sandton, a suburb of Johannesburg, was great and a good place to start visiting Gauteng. Johannesburg - city is not what you would expect from the Capital from such a big beautiful country. Disappointing.
Centurion is actually the Southern region of Pretoria. It is a young, modern and clean city. The impressive Voortrekker monument as well as the Airforce museum is in Centurion. Both are "must visits" when visiting the province of Gauteng in which Centurion is.
Alberton suits the reason for our visit to Gauteng as it is very close to my son who lives there, hence our frequent visits. It is easy to move around especially if you are an out of towner. We actually have been coming to Alberton for the past 13 years and am quite familiar with the area.
As we are not from Gauteng we make the best of all the Halaal Restaurant's and great variety of malls for shopping. Too many cars,roads construction taking far too long to complete.
The food, the scenery, the pool areas, the staff, the atmosphere, the room. I have went to few hotels and lodges around Gauteng and Limpopo but Kloofzicht surpasses all of them when it comes to the food, scenery and staff. The food was very tasty, from the buffet breakfast, lunch by the bistro, and dinner, everything is top class. The number of times that me and my wife kept on saying that this place is beautiful was countless.
The owner of this beautiful, new, and well-maintained self-catering apartment can be proud of owning such a gem in Centurion / Valhalla. This modern, well-equipped, and super-clean luxury villa was the perfect place to stay during our visit to Gauteng. We enjoyed the spacious room, lounge, comfort, clean linen, and safe parking. Highly recommended and we will book it for ourselves again.
Everything from the reception, the room, the dinner (by the way the most reason im staying at your hotel every time im in Pretoria is the food. The Chef cooks a storm in that kitchen hey). The booking in is so seamless. I came with my partner and him being someone who travels a lot, he was very impressed. So be rest assured that Manhatten is our home from home whenever we are in Gauteng.

The flat is in a beautiful apartment building which is located just a short walk from Mall of Africa and located opposite NetCare Hospital. It is also close to the highways so you will not get stuck in traffic. There is also a restaurant at the Ellipse which sell delicious food. The water in the fridge was a nice touch as it was extra hot in Gauteng…
Breakfast was ok however buffet would have been better as the menu was limited. However the stay was okay, nothing WOW. I think it it perfect for business travel rather than a romantic weekend gateway unless the aim is to sleep and expose gauteng during the day and come to the hotel to sleep at night.

The apartment was very stylish, clean ad comfortable[ Block 151 unit 1507], Friendly staff, and we enjoyed all the activities. The whole place was breathtaking. We enjoyed ourselves. The security were actually amazing and helpful as well.
