Vu's Homestay has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Phong Nha. Among the various facilities are a restaurant and a bar. Vus Homestay was one of our favourites in Vietnam! The gardens and pool were such a nice space to relax and the host was incredible. She organised transfers from the airport for us at a very reasonable price as well as our caving expedition (make sure you book through them rather than beforehand online as I believe they get a bonus from the tour companies). We got free coffee and Lemon tea every time we came back to the accomodations which was a lovely touch. The location was great, close to lots of food places and a short free bike ride to the picturesque villa.

San and her team did a wonderful job of managing all our needs. She helped to book our to and fro travel from Phong Nha as well which was a great help as well. It was my birthday when I arrived, and it felt like everybody in the hotel had been briefed on this fact! :) I received congratulations the moment I left the taxi, at reception, and later in the restaurant, and even got a little birthday cake brought to my room as a surprise. You don’t really expect such kindness and personalized service in international hotel chains usually! Rooms are also very spacious, clean and comfortable, breakfast is great, hotel has great views over the river and the ocean.
