Set in Cat Ba, 500 metres from Tung Thu Beach, Bao Phuc Hotel offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. The hotel is located very conveniently at a five minute scooter ride to Cat Ba town. Near enough to easily pop into town for anything you might need, yet far enough away that it isn't noisy or crowded. The view from the room we had was really nice- overlooked the lake and Cat Ba town. Se Ven- the gentleman who manages the property- was super helpful and gave us so many tips that helped us during our stay- he shared a list of recommended places to visit, gave information as to how much each attraction would cost us, and also told us the best spot to exchange money in Cat Ba. The room was large and clean, hot water was plentiful, wifi was excellent. There was even a hair dryer provided. There's also free tea and coffee at all hours of the day at reception. Breakfast is to order and is not an extensive menu, but is sufficient. Se Ven was able to rent us a scooter at the property for a good price, and when we had a slight issue with the bike later, he immediately came and helped us out within 10 minutes. Overall it was a smooth and comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend if in Cat Ba town!

Facing the beachfront, The Moon Boutique Hotel Cat Ba offers 3-star accommodation in Cat Ba and features a terrace, restaurant and bar. Excellent location - it’s at the centre of the city and right opposite the wharf, however the wharf is currently being re-built/upgraded. Friendly staff - all staff are friendly and speak excellent English. Happy to help with your problems including ordering food at night. Clean and stylish room - the room we stayed is clean and bed was very comfortable. Being a new hotel, all the furniture and fixtures are new and easy to use. Good Breakfast- the breakfast is good, instead of a buffet the hotel offers cafe style menu that you can order from including coffee and fresh juice. Not one million options but you can order as many dishes as you like.
