Lucky to find this one on arrival in Bar Harbor in peak leaf peeping season. If you like history, this place is for you. Two town houses beautifully converted into bed and breakfast accommodation with historic furniture and hiding away just behind the main street. Staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, especially Marina (all the way from Serbia) and Walker. Breakfasts are cooked to order - very nice and original but not contemporary US breakfasts. Forget the brick, glass and concrete hotels and come and stay here. Highly recommended.

The hotel is brand new with everything that you need. The beds were so comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for us to drive into Bar Harbor for dinner and then drive to Acadia the next morning. Location was quiet and felt remote even though we were only a few miles from Bar Harbor.
