The rooms are large and airy, bed is super comfortable and the shower is hot. The ladies working at the place help you in any way possible and if they can not - then Ally is always there to advise. Amir, the tuktuk guy, will take you anywhere in town any time of the day for a very small fee. We loved the place and felt sorry when we had to leave. Highly recommended!

Firefly is located in Bagamoyo, 37 mi north of Dar es Salaam. The guest house has an outdoor pool and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. This place is so quaint in a great location. The staff are all so helpful and friendly, breakfast was so delicious with lots of options. Beds were comfy and they gave us extra fans to beat the heat! We stayed there with 3 kids and felt really safe and at ease. The ocean is really close along with the fish market. Lots of good places to eat close by as well.
