Come here for a different experience to a hotel and still with more than enough comforts. You can arrange excursions with him, all just easy. We went on a dromedary ride in the late afternoon, it was a very relaxing time. The property is located at the very end of the inhabited areas before the Sahara, so there's only the desert around you, and it's easy to move around in your own car or by taxi (5-10 minutes to Douz). Muhammed and Brigitte are great hosts. We loved to stay at their place. They helped us not only with recommendations for places to visit and eat but also made us feel at home. The apartment is spacious and clean, as clean as it gets with the sahara at the doorsteps, and we very much appreciated the nice pool in the yard.
