You can organize lot of different activities through hotel staff (camel or horse riding, bikes, etc. ). Food was nice, rooms are clean, we even had a mini fridge. Would recommend.

Take a few bucks with you, they don´t offer water, you must buy... so go outside the hotel to get one.

I truly enjoyed my chats with Mohammed as we discussed our views about the desert, the country, life... (Merci Mohammed!) Come here for a different experience to a hotel and still with more than enough comforts. You can arrange excursions with him, all just easy. We went on a dromedary ride in the late afternoon, it was a very relaxing time. The property is located at the very end of the inhabited areas before the Sahara, so there's only the desert around you, and it's easy to move around in your own car or by taxi (5-10 minutes to Douz). All positives.

We had a nice breakfast too.

The apartment is spacious and clean, as clean as it gets with the sahara at the doorsteps, and we very much appreciated the nice pool in the yard.
