Vila Belvedere is a boutique hotel in the centre of Galati, overlooking the Danube River. Free WiFi is available. First night I spent in the one top room with a balcony and view to the Danube. Later that room was occupied and I changed to another house, which meant walking via garden to breakfast room. That room was a bit cheaper, but not the same view and direct access to breakfast place anymore. But still all in all very good. Best value is receptionist going really out of her way to get some information in town needed as well as trying to find the best way to travel further to Moldova. That was of big help.

Hotel Magnus Galati is close to the most important commercial area of Galati and the Danube promenade, being ideal for relaxation both for business and leisure tourists. Fantastic clean hotel at good location, parking and breakfast. Very kindly staff! Very reccomend to travellers.

The hotel is very nice, large room with all the amenities. What I did not expect was that the restaurant is for events only, not opened on daily basis.

Faleza Hotel by Vega is located in the centre of Galati on the bank of Danube River, providing stylish air-conditioned rooms with splendid views of the Danube river, a café, a breakfast room and free... The location its great. We had a room with balcony , Donau view. Very very nice. The staff are very nice , above our expectations. The breakfast its also very nice, the terass with the church view its top 10. We had a great stay.

We stayed overnight at this hotel in a three-bed room and enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The crisp white bed linens, spacious bathroom, friendly staff, and delicious, reasonably priced breakfasts exceeded our expectations. After checking out, we realized we had left some personal belongings in the room. When we contacted the hotel three days later, we were delighted to find that all of our items had been safely kept for us. Thank you very much for the excellent service!
