Vila Belvedere is a boutique hotel in the center of Galati, overlooking the Danube River. Free WiFi is available. First night I spent in the one top room with a balcony and view to the Danube. Later that room was occupied and I changed to another house, which meant walking via garden to breakfast room. That room was a bit cheaper, but not the same view and direct access to breakfast place anymore. But still all in all very good. Best value is receptionist going really out of her way to get some information in town needed as well as trying to find the best way to travel further to Moldova. That was of big help.

The hotel is very nice, large room with all the amenities. What I did not expect was that the restaurant is for events only, not opened on daily basis.

Faleza Hotel by Vega is located in the center of Galati on the bank of Danube River, providing stylish air-conditioned rooms with splendid views of the Danube river, a café, a breakfast room and free... The location its great. We had a room with balcony , Donau view. Very very nice. The staff are very nice , above our expectations. The breakfast its also very nice, the terass with the church view its top 10. We had a great stay.
