El Vila Belvedere es un hotel boutique situado en el centro de Galati, con vistas al río Danubio. Hay WiFi gratuita. First night I spent in the one top room with a balcony and view to the Danube. Later that room was occupied and I changed to another house, which meant walking via garden to breakfast room. That room was a bit cheaper, but not the same view and direct access to breakfast place anymore. But still all in all very good. Best value is receptionist going really out of her way to get some information in town needed as well as trying to find the best way to travel further to Moldova. That was of big help.

The crisp white bed linens, spacious bathroom, friendly staff, and delicious, reasonably priced breakfasts exceeded our expectations. After checking out, we realized we had left some personal belongings in the room. When we contacted the hotel three days later, we were delighted to find that all of our items had been safely kept for us. Thank you very much for the excellent service!
