It is a great privilege to experience a hotel that takes pride to reflect its rich heritage.The first time we experience such a spacious room with King size bed, with feelings of grandeur. Very impressed, not forgetting the personal touch of Alice and her staff. Breakfast was generous.We want to thank Alice for making special effort to get for us a lunch at the Quinta de Pacheca restaurant

Delfim Douro Hotel was in one word Fantastic, even with a minor incident, what the staff directly and very professional corrected. The moment you walk in, the staff is there. With all the friendly help and the pre-checking was quickly. Everything was in my eyes perfect. We loved also that the hotel helped employees with a handicap, to see the Hotel is not afraid to have employee in a in the wheelchair, who solved our little problem with all the professionalism you can get. The restaurant was great, good food for a decent price, good variety wine and loved the desert, Florest chocolate, you have to try it. :-)

Octant Duoro is an exceptional hotel from the truly amazing architecture and exquisite decor to the extremely attentive staff and delicious food. Lourenco was exceptionally helpful organising a wonderful excursion to the gorgeous vineyard of Quinta da Aveleda followed by a wonderful lunch at Casa da Viuva wine bar. Our time here was magical and included a magnificent boat cruise along the Duoro River.

I recently had my wedding ceremony at this hotel and it is THE BEST. Such a wonderful, gorgeous location on the Douro river. Nice outdoor bar/restaurant and pool lounge area. Easy to grab a boat ride or arrange visits to quintas in the area. Staff work around the clock to make the place comfortable and accomodating. The food is great. Can't recommend it enough!
