يتميز Ventozelo Hotel & Quinta بمطعم ومسبح موسمي في الهواء الطلق وبار وصالة مشتركة في Ervedosa do Douro. This is a vinyard (they don't make wine on site) and is tucked at the end of a valley, so all views were of the Douro river and wineries. The accommodation is distributed in different buildings and there is beautiful landscaping and outdoor seating, plus a pool looking over the valley. The food is very good (breakfast and dinner). We missed out on a wine tasking - you do need to book - but did our own by the glass on the restaurant terrace. Not really for kids, but for adults, a lovely place. The staff were super friendly and really did make us feel welcome.

Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. The staff were so helpful and our dog Ted was made very welcome. Beautiful location and the hotel facilities were very modern & clean.

Situated in a former 18th-century wine estate, this luxury hotel overlooks vineyards and the Douro Valley. OMG, the best fine dining ever. Chef Joao Santos is an artist. Wow, you HAVE to enjoy dinner at the hotel, the best, even for me as a vegetarian, he was able to enchant me with great meals. We had an upgrade, room with balcony facing the douro river, it was great. close to everything you want to do in Pinhao. And you get a wake up call by all the birds singing in the trees and forrests surrounding you. Do not forget your binoculars.

An incredible property. We were just driving through so we only stayed one night, but I would love to return for longer. I think it would make a great base to explore the Douro. The room was spacious and simple. Great linens, lovely bath products. The pool is stunning with a view of the valley. Big, well-appointed fitness center. Gorgeous spa (that I didn't have time to use, sadly.) Fantastic restaurant-- we enjoyed dinner and breakfast, and both were quite good.

Loved absolutely everything from this place. the bedrooms are cozy and extremely clean, we loved the hight ceilings and the italian shower! the best part is definitely the host! She was so nice with us and served us amazing breakfast! we loved her marmelade and orange cake that she made, it was delicious. the breakfast is surely the hightlight as the view in the morning is beautiful and so calm. i would recommend to everyone to stay at least 2 nights!
