We spent 11 days in Gdansk, using this as a base from which we explored various other places of interest in the general area of Pomerania. In Gdansk, certainly pay a visit to Dluga Targ (what is generally accepted as the 'tourist hotspot') and see the lovely old buildings that have (miraculously) survived considering what Gdansk - and indeed Poland - has been through over the years, but there's a lot more to see and do also. Get off the main streets, take a stroll down through the side roads and along the riverside, and you get to see and feel the history of the place. Visit the European Centre of Solidarnosc - a powerful and emotive tour of the struggles this region went through against all the odds to achieve a decent way of life that we all seem to take for granted nowadays. In Gdansk itself, there are a lot of places to eat and drink, but (sadly) in this number are a lot of 'fast-food' establishments (pizzas, kebabs, etc). So for something better, check out "Tekstylia" on the corner of ul. Panska and ul. Szeroka for some good honest food, large portions and at a very reasonable price. Or for something really 'up-market', try out the restaurant "Safarnia 10" on ul. Safarnia; a terrace restaurant overlooking the main Gdansk marina and opposite the 'Gdansk Eye' big wheel. Not cheap, but very good meals. And for a good Chinese meal, try out "Yang Guang" on the corner of ul. Chmielna and ul. Stagiewna - lots of great food at a very good price, too. One word of advice - wear some sensible walking shoes!! Some of the streets in and around the old city are, well, a bit ancient and cobble-stoned and not for the faint-ankled!
This fantastic city is one of few in Pomerania that can offer you traditional overlook. Old buildings in city centre which are refurbished, give unique feelings while being there. Although it's a big city you can meet with friendly approach almost everywhere. Cafes and restaurants are very affordable as lunch costs only £2 per person. For this price you have a very high value, because polish people cook and serve only fresh food. That's what o love the most in kaszuby. Don't forget, while visiting Chojnice, to go around and see all the lakes and forests what are not only beautiful but clean and full of animals. Just like being in a paradise.
I will not be honest here as I was born in this city. I will always hold special place in my heart for Gdańsk. I love the way how it's changing but even years before it was looking great. Wonderful touristic destination to visit and explore all Pomerania.
A beautiful historical city of Gdansk is a living heart of Pomeranian Coast f Poland. Everyone will find something to do, modern museums, delicious food and plenty of sight seeing destinations.

The location of this hotel is great. Awesome place to relax- close to the beach in the middle of a pine forest. Food is good- limited choices but very tasty. I stayed in room 63 - bed and pillows very comfortable. Available bike rental is a plus. At the spa- get a massage from Damian- very professional and very skilled- definitely highlight of my stay.
Perfect location just on the sea coast. Great sea view from most of the rooms. Perfect restaurant! (The best duck we've ate in PL during the last 5 few years), good local beer. Beach access from the hotel. Słowiński Park is few minutes by car from here.
Wonderful hotel. I stayed there several times during my previous visits to Ustka. It is a cozy place with all the amenities one needs. Great swimming pool. Excellent breakfast. For those using public transport the location is perfect with a 2 mins walk to the bus stop for the Slupsk buses.
Overall facilities and rooms are OK, AC needs some general maintenance, as it smelled like pickles in the room every time we had it on. Otherwise SPA/Swimmingpool area were generally good.

Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food. A little bit more of vegan food would have been appreciated as my daughter is vegan, but we managed. We had a good size room for the three of us and the beds were quite comfy. The balcony was also very nice. We used the inside swimming pool and it was really good. Since we travelled in September, there were not a lot of guests there and sometimes we were the only people in the pool. The restaurant served very tasty food and they did their best to accommodate my vegan daughter although there were no strictly vegan dishes. The service was excellent. Both my children rented a bike and they really enjoyed cycling through the forest.

Quiet area,clean building, spacious room, awesome bathroom. Staff is extremely pleasant. Very close to Jastarnia and my Kitesurfing school. Gas station and supermarket Biedronka is walking distance close. Smaller shop Lewiatan is 2 minutes away walking distance.

Very kind and helpful owners, the place has all the necessary facilities, great location - very quiet but close to the local trains which will take you take to all the main points of interest within the Tri-City area,. 5 min. bus ride to the beach (a bus stop is nearby) and a short walk to the famous Oliva Cathedral and arboretum.
