I stayed here for 1 night during a cycling bikepacking trip around Leyte the night before my ferry to Cebu. It is a basic hotel and I found it to be as I expected from the previous reviews, it met my simple needs of a bed and a shower. Centrally located close to the Port of Maasin around the corner and a short walk to Maasin Cathedral square. Staff were helpful with my questions.

What a wonderful and pleasant stay we had with Maria and her son. The welcoming was as if you would come home. Beautiful views from the balcony over the bay and the surroundings. Big, deep, and very clean pool. Great bed, nice, thick, and comfy. Great AC! Good bathroom with warm shower, not that powerful, but if you stayed in the Philippines before you know that high waterpressure isn't a guarantee and we found it sufficient enough. Big TV, although we didn't use it, because we had a great and honest conversation with Maria the rest of the evening. Great breakfast in the morning, with a beautiful view. It was a pity that we booked another hotel, or else we definitely stayed longer...

The property is very well maintained, private and comfortable. The bungalow has WiFi, AC, TV, Hot water very spacious, bed is comfortable overall very nice. Mareeya and staff were excellent food was delicious, cooked by our wonderful Host. The view of the bay was very nice, location was central to what we wanted to explore. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the local area, you need look no more. 😊

The location, service, food, and amenities were excellent! I highly recommend this play to anyone looking to stay in the Southern Leyte. They have beautiful ocean views, diving, swimming, and the food and staff were exceptional!!!!
