Remembering that this hotel is in a small town on Leyte and pretty isolated, we had a good stay. It was by far the best property in the area. Room had good ac and they had a back-up generator that kicked in when the power went out. Staff very helpful and they had good parking right across the street. We arrived late, around 11 pm and the security guy quickly directed us to parking and helped with our bags. Could watch Netflix and other on-demand in the room and there was a mini-frig/freezer. Bed was comfortable and seemed clean.

Staff is friendly, when you need some help with accomodation, they help immediately.

Portofino Homestay, que cuenta con piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza, ofrece alojamiento en Malitbog con wifi gratis y vistas al mar. This stay was amazing and we were only there for one night. The location is stunning right on the water and our host went out of her way to make sure we were well looked after. If you heading to south Leyte I couldn’t recommend staying here enough

The room was fantastic it had everything you needed and was super clean. The location was amazing. Waking up every morning and looking out across the bay was incredible. Chu and Larry were awesome and went above and beyond to help us whenever we needed assistance or to organise something. Honestly, the nicest place we stayed in the Philippines, couldn't recommend this Homestay enough
