The breakfast was really well prepared..much better than other breakfast included. The staff was awsome and in our first hour we found a tricycle driver that was more than helpful in showing us everything that Puerto Princesa had to offer.That then became our main mode of transportation,,the experience of seeing through a local was fantastic,and he also bragged about the hotel to us..Our only regret was not scheduling more time to visit the area,,,meaning we will be returning..Look for tricycle driver Ryan Rosales...highly recomended......

Canvas Boutique Hotel offers a delightful stay with its artistic ambiance, excellent service, and convenient location that's just across the airport. I used the reservation mainly to ensure I get to my flight on time as I was flying from Puerto Princesa to Boracay. I was enchanted by the artistic decoration of the hotel and my room. Plus the restaurant at the hotel is a good place to unwind and catch a deliciously prepared meal (roasted chicken, san miguel light, blueberry cheesecake. The attendant was very courteous and hospitable.

-that was the best room we had in our trip around Philippines, very comfortable bed, very clean and I'd even say European bathroom - the hotel owner accommodated all our requests and even went an extra mile cooking for us where we didn't have enough time to go to the restaurant and it was raining like crazy -after staying there we understand all good reviews and we are not surprised at all -you will not find better place to stay in Puerto Princesa - if we ever go back to the city we will definitely stay there again

The rooms are quiet nice, but the Hotel is on the main road, so you don’t get a good view from your window ;) the hotel ist next to a big Mall where you can eat cheap and buy some supplies. There is not a lot to do in Puerto Princesa though… the town itself isn’t very charming. You can book tours in the hotel if you like. This worked quiet well. The pool is nice, again, with view on the main road. Staff is more than friendly, cocktails at the Poland are good and prices are ok. you get pool towels which is great.

Booked this hotel in Puerto Princesa again after our trip to El Nido because we had a very comfortable stay here. Something to add to my previous review is that this hotel also provides free water from the water dispenser located on each floor, and mugs are also provided for the guests. The hotel also has a unique feature of looking like a ship, and even the windows and corridors resembles like that of a ship. The balcony also overlooks toward the beach where you can watch beautiful sunsets and boats sailing.

We booked here for the second time after a disastrous and traumatic experience in Port Barton (or the Philippines in general) Woman was friendly and sensible. Everything that we love in the 21st century is working: decent wifi, running a hot water, electricity working 24/7 They cook.good food but it's expensive. I'd say it's far from downtown but Puerto Princesa has nothing to see so it doesn't really matter

Service above and beyond, amazing food presented with obvious love and care, spacious new suites, designer touches, beautiful pool and a very relaxing vibe. With only a handful of rooms, you feel like you have the place to yourself. It’s the only hotel in Puerto Princesa where, once we arrive, we really don’t want to go anywhere else because it’s such a lovely place to be. What a great find!

i love everything about this hotel. the ambiance, facility is very very clean, love the quiet and peaceful surroundings, and also the personnel was very kind, friendly and accommodating. lastly the breakfast, tho it’s a silog meals but it’s also delicious and quiet good 💚 if i had the chance to come back again to puerto princesa this will be my first option. very recommendable. 👏🏻

I had met owner Andrea online and knew her hotel would not disappoint, offering my family a great comfortable base to discover Puerto Princesa & around. Rooms were spacious, clean with efficient quiet aircon & bright delightful bedding. The hotel restaurant served great food & drinks, lovely to return to after action packed tours organized by Andrea and her staff. TV

The experience staying at Alvea Hotel after others in Puerto Princesa was Tops, new, fresh, clean, friendly, helpfull and very economical compared to cheaper and other options previously staying at. By best stay in Puerto Princesa when you want to be close to the City's facilities when in Town

Only stayed for one night but the location was great, hotel was nice and clean and spacious, but the best thing were how helpful and nice the staff were. If you go to Puerto Princesa you should stay here!

Used this hotel due to close proximity to Puerto Princesa airport. Only complaint was how it was quite nosey at night, our room looked out onto the road. Rooms were standard and staff were friendly.

Area is spacious, good facilities, clean, accommodating staff, airport transfers, near restaurants, room is clean, big and hotel is located in the heart of puerto princesa city

The staff and breakfast are great! Room is a bit small but for one night in Puerto Princesa it is all you need. Also, it is pristine clean and has hot water!
