We spent 11 days at Agoho Resort, which was one of the best vacations. The place was super clean, comfortable, and quiet. Peter and his wife always made sure everything functioned perfectly. They and their staff are super friendly and always willing to help. Camiguin Island offers plenty of opportunities for exploration. We visited the White Island, Mantigue Island, Katibawasan Falls, Hot Springs, The Giant Clam Estuary, Moro Tower, and climbed the Hibok-Hibok volcano. Agoho Resort was the perfect place to come back to every evening and recharge for the next day. We also decided to stay in for a couple of days and enjoy the comfort of the room and the beautiful gardens surrounding the resort. The breakfast was delicious, homemade bread, eggs (sunnyside up, scrambled), meat (Italian sausage, hot dog, bacon, corn beef), butter, jam, coffee, and milk. Other main dishes on the restaurant's menu were delicious as well. The resort helped us to rent a motorbike for all 11 days. It was cheap and reliable. Thanks a lot for a great vacation! We will be back!

A rather simple and charming city. Visit birhen sa cotta built in 1755. Forth Santiago: Cotta de Misamis, a Spanish fortress is the oldest structure in the city. See also the Immaculate Concepcion pipe organ is the only existing pipe organ in Mindanao.
The city has good restos & cafe for food trips. We particularly like Kee's Cafe, Coffee Lovers & Big Ben at Valley High. Cafe Amoree is also our favorite.The mall is comparable to other big cities in Mindanao. Getting around is easy as there were tricycles, walking is another option especially for travelers. The city is the gateway to other towns in Sarangani area. We went diving in Maasim, about 45 minutes from the city by van. Sarangani Bay is a marine paradise without doubt. Lemlunay Dive Resort is a perfect get-away.
Everyone is so helpful here. Even if the island of Mindanao is now under martial law, you don't notice it so much as people carry on as usual. You just see more police no military in public places, but this gives you a more feeling of safety. I have not had one single negative experience since being here in Davao, or in the Philippines.
Cagayan de Oro is clean and gateway to other provinces in Mindanao. I'd come back here next month to explore the place.
I never had any fear when I travelled Gen San despite the Martial Law in Mindanao. I love the place despite the situation in nearby provinces. All I can say that Gen San is generally a safe place.
Went to Museo Dabawenyo, Morning Light gallery/art shop and Tabula Rasa gallery Mindanao Artists. Staff and owners were friendly and accommodating. Casa Munda Inn was very clean and comfortable with polite and friendly staff. Location was convenient for NCCC, S&R and SM Ecoland. Taxis were efficient and drivers polite, but some vehicles owned by Mabuhay Taxi company were very run-down and not clean.
A dedicated and mostly friendly staff. Facility has a warden during nighttime. Airport shuttle service worked flawlessly, but you need to pay extra for it. Bathrooms are in a good condition, given the standard in Mindanao. At least some furnishing to stow away your stuff. Water heater in the room.
like the location, breakfast, fire escape....we have to use the escape as a quake hit parts of Mindanao and tremors was felt strong in the hotel. Lots of guests went through the fire escape, but at least the fire escape is well lighted, wide and easy to access and completely free..
The biggest asset to the hotel is the restaurant. Lime & Zest is far out one of the better places to eat in Mindanao. The room was spacious, clean and got everything needed.

It was a very short stay for us as we arrived around 6pm left 8 am . Having flown into Davao we were hungry and used the restaurant . Food really was excellent , highly recommend the food. Room was big , air con faulty temp gauge but that’s real life it happens and the actual air con worked . I will definately consider this hotel on my next trip to Davao .
Close for everything you need less stress in doing so many things and the most we love we could buy all the organic fruits and the prices are cheap. All the restaurant are very closed to walk and the banking are convenient for us plus the wholesaler grocery we enjoy our shopping.
Very near to Limketkai Atrium and just a walking distance
The hotel was beautiful and airy , and entrance going up to the lobby and lobby itself very welcoming. Location was perfect , so convenient and a few steps away from restaurants and shopping. Greenleaf Hotel customer service was excellent. The entire Staff was very professional, attentive , courteous and most of all , very pleasant and helpful -from the Front Desk, Concierge, waiters at their restaurants, Security Guards, etc.. Housekeeping was very prompt when we needed something. The room was comfortable. Our experience at the Mint Café where we had the delicious breakfast (included with our stay) was also very pleasant. The food was good! They also had free shuttle to and from the airport. Coincidentally, it was their 10th year anniversary , and we were lucky to be able to take part in the celebration with entertainment and fireworks.They offered hors d’oeuvres and drinks for free to celebrate the occasion. Will surely be back and highly recommend the hotel to family and friends.
Club Tara is not that bad. Don’t believe in the worst reviews given by the other guests. First, it is not a five-star resort, don’t expect much in the facilities. There is an ongoing renovation during our visit, so expect improvements soon. The resort has comfortable rooms where you can see the beauty of nature and a jacuzzi in each room. Their staff members are amiable, accommodating, and helpful. A special mention to Bonga. She was such a darling to us. You will not regret having her with you during your meal time. The foods we ordered were excellent. They have a good cook there. The place is remote, so expect a bad mobile internet connection. But that will be the best time to unwind. Their location is perfect if you want to escape the noise and stress of the city. Just use their free surfboard or kayak because there are many places to explore. There is a part where it feels like you are in the middle of the jungle. It’s total bliss and peaceful out there. Overall, we enjoyed our three-night stay at the resort. It’s worth the money.
