This place is brand new, and it's so beautiful. Everything is pristine and well designed including the nice decor and plants. Having your own private pool right outside the room is such a cool concept and I think it's what made our stay so special for us. The bed is super comfortable, which I find to be rare in the Philippines - the beds are usually too hard for me, but not this one! There are plenty of great bars and restaurants as well as the beach within short walking distance so the location is also fantastic. Can't fault this place at all, highly recommend it!
Almost forgot to mention the lovely staff that looked after us during our stay. Thank you so much guys! We'll be back.

But frequent, island-wide power outages bring the place to a standstill, and no one in power seems very interested in fixing the situation. If Siargao is going to be anything like the next Bali, then the island's government needs to start by giving its residents access to high quality, uninterrupted electricity.

More of a fast paced island compared to other islands in Philippines, lots of international bars and Resto which reflects in the food never had a bad meal while their trying dishes from multiple places.
Easy to get around on Tuk Tuk or tricycles check prices or get tourist prices especially foreigners.
never managed to check out the nightlife but believe quite good for party people

I arrived in Siargao by flight from Manila, from the airport to the accommodation I took a van for 40 minutes to the accommodation together with other tourists.
We rented a scooter and went all over the island and the landscapes are beautiful.
Places we liked:
- Island Coconut Trees View Deck, Magpopongko Rock Pools and Flats, Maasin Bridge River Swing and Cloud 9 area
- Siargao Island Hopping (Naked Island, Daku Island, and Guyam Island)

It was Dope!!!!💯❗️❤️❤️❤️. The Ocean view.. the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful view was on point. The open Kitchen excellent. The caretakers were very friendly and polite and very helpful. Stay jumpstarted our month long tour. It set a beautiful precedent that was set and upped our expectations for El Nido. The stay was so good that we are now going to see about purchasing property there. The owner was very gracious about letting us use the Villa which is what I wanted. I have nothing but respect and positive feedback for our Stay. We will be looking forward to going there again.

I have been knowing General Luna for more than 12 years and this place unfortunately is getting less and less attractive to me. It has become like a party place and probably it is attractive to those party people.

General Luna or Reef Beach Hotel is a Fleabag, literally.
General Luna or Reef Beach Hotel is a Fleabag, literally.
We were bitten by fleas in the bed and unfortunately we only realized the source on the 3rd day.
This wasn’t even the room they were supposed to reserve for us after we paid half, 6 months in advance, they informed us Sorry, we didn’t keep your room“.
They took responsibility for the fleas and moved us to another room.
They did NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY TO REFUND US OUR MONEY, not even for the 3 nights, even though we were itching and scratching for another week.
They offered to pay our medical expenses.
Believe me, I would rather pay full price and no fleas.
DON’T GO THERE, ITS NOT WORTH IT.

Clean and fresh room with good condition. Comfy beds. Good cleaning. Very friendly and nice owner and the rest of the staff. Everything so seamless, both check in and checkout. I enjoyed it a lot here, very close to everything in General luna. Can strongly recommend this place.
The location of the Hotel is perfect. It located in the middle of General Luna and beach front. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They even turned the AC before checking me in. The vibe from the guest and staff also is very welcoming. Will definitely staying here again!
Lubihan has a great locatiom in General Luna, with cafes and restos around it. Loved that it was right next to Crossfit Siargao. Very easy to locate as well. The rooms are cozy and clean with AC and fan. Staff is super friendly and helpful too!
Great location for general luna. Billy helps with everything (tours, transfer, laundry, dinner recommendations). The room was spacious, the bed was comfy and the WiFi was fast. Would definitely recommend.
