Good little city but too hot. I live in Baguio City in N.Luzon and weather is 8-10 degrees cooler. If you take a 2Go ferry its cheaper but I dont recommend the 30 hr trip to Puerto Princesa. Take the Ferry to Coron 1st and half the time. Then you can work your way down to Puerto Princesa. I cancelled my Ferry return ticket to Manila and got a refund but 8usd surcharge. Plane was better and just 1 hour. I recommend Air Asia Zest about 3500 pesos 1 way.
Manila is an odd mix of old colonial heritage, vibrant culture, fantastic food, and devastating poverty and degradation. I was only there for a couple of days at the end of trip around the rest of Luzon with my partner's family, but the impression I got is that of a city with so much to offer that you could never see it all.
My favorite museum is the Ayala museum, although the city has many more interesting places. I prefer to stay in Makati. Foresee enough time to get from and to the airport. Buses on routes throughout Luzon take a while, but are a convenient way to travel almost everywhere.
I prefer Baguio's temperature which is a lot cooler than Manila. It was not easy to get around, lots of traffic and streets were narrow. It would have been nice if the surrounding areas (streets and houses) were developed being Baguio is a tourist spot in Luzon.

It was good to see the capital city of the Philippines and was able to get the night bus to Luzon however it can be very rough and I didn't feel comfortable walking around in the evening due to beggars.
Angeles is a fantastic city. Angeles has a perfect location in the middle of Luzon, close to beaches in Subic, a mere 45 minutes ride. Relatively close to Bagio, a very nice city high up in the mountain, around 2 and a half hours ride. The region of Angeles, Pampanga is famous for its fantastic kitchen, with a variety of delicious foods. There is a marvelous waterpark, plenty different hotels to select. You can even rent a nice apartment, or house, by day, week or month, for a good price. There are big malls, like SM or Marke-mall. On Fridays, there is a big market, where you can find anything from clothes to kitchen stuff for a very cheap price. It's walking-distance all over. If you are lacy, you can take a tricycle or a Jeepney for a very cheap price. The people are friendly and helpful. There is a lot of restaurants a booming nightlife, I would recommend ABC Hotel. It is expensive, but a nice experience a couple of nights. Wonderful rooms, fantastic foods, friendly, effective staff, Pools downstairs and at the rooftop, a nice gym and relaxation area with sauna and hot pools, massage. ABC has it all!
Tuguegarao City
Location is okay, there is available transport once you get out from the hotel and breakfast is good too for a local from North Luzon, for travelers without transportation it is a good option.

1. Beds were big. 2. Real slippers were provided. 3. Our room has a bath tub which we did not expect. 4. Basic toiletries were provided. 5. Our room is spacious. 6. There is free breakfast. Although the choices are limited, I can't complain because I only added PhP250 to include breakfast for three persons. Eating breakfast outside would likely cost us around 450 pesos each. 7. Location is very ideal as it is in front of SM North. It is very accessible. 9. Internet connection is okay.
Me and my family stayed in The Farm for one night only but I can surely say that it was a relaxing stay. The staff are very accommodating, kudos to Hazel who assisted us during our check-in. I loved the room, its size and amenities within our Palmera Glass Villa. The breakfast was superb as well. Not sure if the management is already looking into it, but I hope in future there could be a transfer from the nearest mall to hotel which would be helpful for the guests who don’t have private cars. Overall, The Farm is recommended place to stay in Lipa!
I like the whole area, we enjoyed the place. Nice staff, nice room except for my noisy neighbors, superb view. Complimentary breakfast is good we loved it.

Everything! Clean, practical, pleasant place. Staff are 100% friendly and accommodating. They will always greet you whenever they see you, which really make a lot of difference. All you need in a room is there, if only they can provide a mini fridge and DIY laundry, I would really think it's perfect! I loved this hotel! Incredible value for money. The staff were wonderful, the room was cosy and bright, and the hotel restaurant and bar was great to grab dinner and listen to some live music in the evenings. I especially loved the on-site spa with very reasonably priced massages. I needed early checkin and late checkout and the staff were amazing in accommodating me. Thanks for a great stay!
