Set amongst tropical gardens on a beautiful white sand beach, Hotel Maitai Lapita Village features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Breakfast was excellent. Good choice nicely presented. Location fantastic. Very relaxed atmosphere.Staff very friendly and helpful. Very sustainable - care about their enviroment. Easy walk to the village. Beautiful island please look after it and don't let anyone spoil it!

The Hotel Le Mahana Huahine is situated on a white sand beach with a coral garden located next to the hotel's private pontoon. All bungalows offer a terrace and a flat-screen satellite TV. The location is amazing, the personnel friendly, the property clean.

Set on the beachfront in Haapu, ALAROOTS HUAHINE features a shared lounge. There is a barbecue and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing entertainment. You learn something new about the culture every night, so be excited for that. Tata is very kind and shows you the surroundings and their dances, cultural customs. She has a cute little daughter who dances beautifully too. Depending on the length of your stay you will learn how to make bracelets, flower crowns and how to open a coconut. Lovely hosts that keep you entertained.

Bungalow Belle Vue is situated in Maroe. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The property offers car hire and features a garden and picnic area. Great view. Virginie is very friendly and picked us up from the airport in our rental car she helped to organise, suggested some good restaurants and even provided a bowl of tasty homegrown fruit. The room was clean and spacious with a good shower. The geckos were cute but sometimes a little noisy at night.

Set in Tefarerii in the Huahine region, Bungalove KAI KABANA has a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Helen and Timo were excellent hosts! They helped us with information to rent a car before we arrived, welcomed us 2 hours before check in time, with flower necklace and coconut! They gave us fresh fish and lemon cake that was delicious! Plus a beautiful souvenir with stones from the island. Definitely much more than you would expect from a host. They are very friendly, kind and took care to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The place is beautiful, private, very clean, you can see that it is new and the facilities are in perfect condition. It has air conditioning, a kitchen with everything you need and WiFi. It is a bit far from the center of the island but definitely worth it! They are an amazing family and can show you how the locals really live. I loved it! I would definitely come back.

Lushest and wildest island of all Society Islands. I can't tell if the sea is more beautiful or the forest. If I go again to Society islands I would only stay at Huahine and Tefarerii is located at the nicest lagoon for snorkeling. Wonderful beach is just 10 minutes by boat away. Just wonderful.
Very laid back and uncrowded area (just like the rest of Huahine). Great snorkeling for kids, kayaking and surfing in Parea. Explore and you wont be disappointed. Coffee is good at Relais and the restaurant next door (Chez Tara) has great food a buffet with live music on Sundays for lunch.

Our hosts were fantastic. Great location. Lovely accommodation. Fantastic beach. Our hosts couldn't do enough for us. They were lovely, even fetching my wife's phone to the airport after she left it in the apartment. I can't recommend this enough. If you visit Huahine, then staying here is a must. Supermarket, restaurants and local food on y9ur doorstep. We will be back x
Haapu
I spent almost a month there and I had such a great time. Natalie and Papi are amazing, warm-hearted hosts and so is the atmosphere at the hostel. The cultural activities are fire! Facilities are simple but it is always clean and there is everything you need. Haapu is a lovely little village and a great place for starting your expeditions on the most beautiful island Huahine.
If you look to stay at a hotel on Huahine, your choices are limited to about 2 properties. The beach and snorkeling at the hotel are exceptional. Beautiful location, and nice accomodations for this remote of a place. Very gracious staff. Available paddle boards, kayaks and snorkel equipment. The snorkeling at this location rivals the best in the world.
Basic but very clean rooms. Every morning you get fresh baguette. Transfer to ferry or airport is provided. But most of all a very friendly and welcoming host who handled small inconveniences in a very professional manner. Thank you!
The presentation pictures of the accomodation, although beautiful, don’t do enough justice to the guest house. An extremely balanced mix of authentic touch with modern amenities. You have to be well aware that coming to Huahine means embracing the nature and the local vibe. Franck has been extremely lovely and helpful with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this stay to people who understand and embrace the rustic vibe and that want to have a authentic island experience.
We.loved the top floor of this beautiful home..It has a really big breezy balcony overlooking amazing mountains, the village and the bay of Maro'e. Beautiful pool. Well appointed. 2 big bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 large bathroom and large balcony. . We hired their car for 3 days as the capital,Fare, is a good 20 min drive. We used their 2 single kayaks in the bay in front. The French owners are super friendly and keen to help.. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the slower pace of Huahine.
