It was a great location, close walk to Fare township. Large and spacious. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Excellently shower. We were right on the beach. Bikes were available.

It's a fantastic tahitian style room, with a porch directly at seaside. Might not be for everyone (coral on the floor is uncomfortable), no warm shower, roof was a little leaky, but I absolutely loved it! Fresh flowers and plants in the bathroom. The hosts are friendly and helpful but they speak very little english.
Tifaifai et café Huahine offers accommodation in Fare. The property is ideally located to explore nearby archaeological sites, a black pearl farm and a coral garden.

The location was perfect, close to the Airport but no means of transport except for taxis at a high price.NB It was a big problem in locating the property. It took myself and two locals ,a husband and wife in their land rover truck to find the property after an hour, just driving around looking for the house and asking people .I spoke to the owner Mr Gwendelyn about NO SIGNAGE to his property and the roadway

Fare is a lovely spot and is conveniently located to access all spots on the island. We would have loved to have stayed longer in Huahine. We rented a car for one day and we rented bikes for one day. We explored so much and enjoyed just stopping in to spots that we spied along the way. It was great to be able to walk into town also. The people are very friendly here. We loved going to the Hotel Mahana for lunch. If you have lunch there, you can use their beach and facilities. I would have gone back a second time and spent more time there if we had had the time!
We also saw the sacred eels, fed them and pet them!
Talk to the people. They are very proud of their island!

the super grocery store was super!
the super grocery store was super! They had everything you might need. The shops were cute, of course selling touristy stuff. We went by boat several times from Royal Hotel Huahine for a few meals. We ate at the yacht club dont' remember the name exactly.

Quiet town off the beaten Polynesian path.
Quiet town off the beaten Polynesian path.
The Super U grocery store has most of what you'll need.
Huahine Yacht Club is really the only restaurant for dinner, which was fine for us as it's affordable with a great happy hour. The sun sets to the west over Raiatea, Tahaa and Bora Bora from the water front seats at the Yacht Club.
Most rental transport facilities are in Fare and there are multiple ATMs.
Highly recommend seeing the island by E-bike. Both islands can be toured in a single day with the E-bike.
Also recommend the Motu Picnic, an affordable all day snorkeling adventure with traditional shore lunch on an east-side motu. Stop by the Yacht Club to register.
We.loved the top floor of this beautiful home..It has a really big breezy balcony overlooking amazing mountains, the village and the bay of Maro'e. Beautiful pool. Well appointed.
2 big bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 large bathroom and large balcony.
. We hired their car for 3 days as the capital,Fare, is a good 20 min drive. We used their 2 single kayaks in the bay in front.
The French owners are super friendly and keen to help..
Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the slower pace of Huahine.
At fare ara every wish is possible. You are not only treated as a special guest you are treated from the heart of the business owner. Warm and welcoming no wish is too much for them. Thank you so mluch you lovey Huahine poeple
Very close walk to the beach and the town of Fare. The owners were lovely, making good suggestions on what to see. The bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a patio, and was very, very nicely designed and decorated.
Steps away from the water, beautiful sunsets and snorkeling possible. Short bike ride (for free) or drive to Fare where restaurants and Super U were located. Nathalie was very nice, friendly and available.
Nice private bungalow close to beach and Fare town. Good bed, open air shower, good kitchen, veranda and bicycles to go into town. Very quiet, dark nights. Lovely!
