Windows faced inner courtyard that is roofed in so noise is minimized. Breakfast doesn’t change but is adequate and service with that is good. Lunch and dinners offered but I didn’t partake. No English while I was there but some staff accommodated me with App translators which got the job done. Bed was very comfortable. It was my second visit to Cajamarca in past year and I can say with some history that there are only a few places in the center of this great city that surpass this hotel in cleanliness and service.

Entre las ciudades del Perú, ciertamente Cajamarca no es la preferida pues se ve opacada por ciudades como el Cusco o Arequipa, no obstante, como peruana, la recomiendo si se desea tener una aproximación más profunda con la cultura peruana. Bien llamada la ciudad del "Encuentro entre dos mundos" pues fue precisamente allí donde tuvo lugar el encuentro entre Pizarro (español) y Atahualpa (el último inca). Un lugar con mucha historia, no necesariamente inca, sino más bien preinca y colonial. Para los amantes de la buena comida, de la naturaleza, de la arquitectura, Cajamarca es La ciudad. El viajero podrá deleitarse con los lindos balcones y casonas coloniales en una atmósfera bastante apacible y, saliendo a la campiña, podrá disfrutar de aire limpio y lindas vistas de los valles. Zona ganadera por excelencia, aún quedan rezagos de la gran producción ganadera de antaño (ahora ha disminuido un poco, pero continúa siendo importante). No en vano empresas como Gloria y Nestlé están presentes en la zona explotando la producción local. La ciudad es muy fácil de recorrer y los circuitos turísticos propuestos son accesibles para personas con condiciones físicas promedio. Asimismo, cuenta con baños termales muy cerca de la ciudad, los Baños del Inca. El café pasado es muy rico en casi cualquier cafetería o restaurante. En general, un gran paseo alternativo a otros circuitos peruanos más conocidos. ¡Muy recomendable!
My hotel was just off the main plaza but it was quiet. Cajamarca is a busy market town with plenty of shops and restaurants. I was happy to arrive in Cajamarca, finally back in civilization following my travels to the hardscrabble towns of San Ignacio, Jaen, Bagua Grande, and Celendin.
El hotel esta bien ubicado, cerca de la plaza de armas. Frente al hotel no circulan autos lo cual hace del hotel un lugar muy tranquilo y esta bien iluminado. Sus habitaciones son limpias y cómodas, el desayuno agradable, las personas que trabajan en el hotel muy amables y atentas. Definitivamente volvería a este hotel en mi próxima visita a Cajamarca.
Cajamarca city is beautiful. It has a lot to visit. The weather was good and the food was delicious. We can visit it again. We visit Granja Porcon, hacienda La Colpa, city tour, Otuzco. We ate at Salas restaurant
There are tons of outdoors activities, like Kuntur Wasi, Cumbemayo,several waterfalls, Otuzco Windows, among others. There's plenty of nature everywhere, if you like hiking then Cajamarca is the place to be.
Cajamarca seems to be one of the safer city of Peru even if there is not much to see
Hot shower always, and very good internet, friendly staff, good breakfast with some variation every day, good location but bear in mind it's about 15-20 minutes by walk to the centre - Plaza de Armas. They gave me a thermometer when I was feeling sick and did housekeeping every day!!! The first time in Peru there was an actual window in the room looking outside. Very good value for money. I also liked Cajamarca so much that I stayed for more days and they happily extended my stay (and kept the same price)
Cajamarca
We stayed five nights in Casa Mirita. Casa Mirita is located a bit outside of the center in a quiet street, Cajamarca center Is reached very easily with mototaxi. The room in Casa Mirita is basic, the personal atmosphere, provided by Mirita and Vicky, is just fantastic. The breakfast is freshly prepared every day and very good. We can recommend Casa Mirita to everybody who is interested staying in a typical Peruvian home and in experiencing Peruvian hospitality.
Los Baños del Inca
Beautiful, clean and spacious room. The hostel has a very beautiful decoration. The garden is so beautiful and big, it is great to just sit there and relax in the nature. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good and different every day. It is a 15min walk to the "center " of Banos and there are transport vans nearby if you want to visit Cajamarca. There's a kitchen you can use.

I did like everything. Really attentive service, always willing to assist and help. Rooms were nice, clean, espacious and comfortable. Transfer in/out airport is really additional plus.

The most comfortable bed and pillows I had on my travel. I have to bring my own pillow but didn't have to unpack it. Super comfy beds+ good & quiet aircon. The location is great, the garage is two blocks away, but no issue. A bit of noise from the casino next door, but only annoying on Saturdays. Otherwise, rather quiet for the location. The breakfast is good and the coffee great. The café is open in the evening and as I can't have coffee in the evening I got delicious local hot chocolate. I felt well looked after. Needed a mechanic for my motorbike and the owner was driving around town with me to find the right spot. Super helpful. Very nice family and friendly staff! Will definitely return! Also the rooms have a nice design, not the same basic style like most of the other hotels.
