Located in Franz Josef, Rainforest Deluxe provides a terrace and bar. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a garden, as well as a sauna and a hot tub. The hotel features family rooms. We stayed in one of their tree houses and it was well appointed, clean and modern. Location is very good to access trails, and glacier touring operators. There is an onsite restaurant that has excellent food and drinks.

With a riverside location right in the centre of town, Copthorne Hotel Greymouth offers comfortable, modern accommodation and easy access to the West Coast's spectacular scenic attractions. Location is good, within walking distance to the railway station for the Tranzalpine train. The room is spacious and very clean, and it had lovely clean, thick towels. I had a room overlooking the river and a bit of the sea. I didn't take my meals in the hotel, so I can't rate the food. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my short stay here in this hotel. I'm glad I didn't book a cheaper alternative.
