Stay was wonderful. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities, including a fridge and a flat-screen TV and kitchen. Katherine was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any needs or questions. Overall, I recommend this Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Tromso city center is 45min drive from the stay and was very convenient for us to drive through our rented car. Please check if there is severe weather conditions the bridge connecting to the city may close.

The view from 403 was incredible! We saw the northern lights many nights from the balcony, as well as the fireworks for New Year's Eve. Also loved view of mountains and the water/boats. We cooked most of our meals and appreciated well stocked kitchen pans, utensils, and appliances. Big bathroom with excellent shower. Great location for walking around Tromso, shopping (groceries too), eating out, and even meeting up for tours. Only needed a taxi to/from airport. So happy to have found this apartment!

The Malangen Resort is in a superb location and the rooms are exceptional. The Standard double we booked had amazing views over the water adjoining the Hotel and to the snow topped mountains in the distance. The transfer bus service is perfect if you are travelling on foot providing convenient transport to the centre of Tromso, and the airport. a terrific hotel and I wish we could have spent longer here, especially since on the day of our departure the weather was unforgiving, and the views largely non-existent.

1. The location is easily accessible (but far! 1.5 hours scenic ride from Tromso) by public transport bus 420. Need to check the bus schedule. 2. Staff have been very helpful and kind providing information I need. I emailed them and they made effort to reply to all my questions in kind and friendly manner. (Really appreciate Matilde, Anna, Ingrid and Marie) 3. Hotel surrounding is very pretty and serene. When you are lucky, you can see aurora from the hotel.

Apartment is gorgeous and the room very comfortable. Great views of the mountains. I was able to get northern light photos from the balcony. The host is very kind, generous and I truly enjoyed our conversations. He gave me great tips on where to go to photograph northern lights, only about 25 minutes from the apartment. I got amazing photos. The area around Tromso is breathtakingly beautiful. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend.

The hosts and facility both were excellent. Norway being an expensive country, the hosts had taken care of providing of some basic food items to start off with. This is highly appreciated after long haul flights. The property was well kept and clean and everything that once could need for a comfortable and homely stay was provided. Would book the same place again for any future visits to Tromso. Highly recommend.

Excellent location, close enough to the city centre to walk even in the cold, and with a supermarket right next door. The balcony looked like it would be nice in warmer weather. The front room was cooler than the rest of the house, which allows you to get dressed for the cold without sweating (suprisingly rare in the places we stayed in Norway). Good value compared to similar options in Trømso.

We were looking for a stop over location before catching the Arctic Route Bus into Finland, which is a shame, because each time we undertake this trip, we feel that Tromso deserves more time. The aforementioned aside, Ami Hotel works well - comfortable, central, very easy to get to - and for Norway, it is reasonably priced - we stayed twice; and will stay at Ami Hotel next time too.

Five Apartments is close to the local bus stop, which takes you into Tromso, Main town. It's a 5-minute walk to the cable car, which takes you up to the top mountain. Any questions that we had were answered promptly. The place is cosy, warm, and clean. If the sky is clear and you can see some stars....chances are that you will find the Northern Lights hovering above you ✨️

Great location and within walking distance to everything in Tromso. Reception staff is friendly and offer an early check in for a small amount which we could rest in our room. Room is basic and clean, heater works well in winter. Size is reasonable at this cost. Hotel has call service for taxi which is convenient and is very near the bus stop for airport express bus too.

This apartment is perfect for staying in Tromsø, especially if you are looking for a more affordable foundation for your adventure! The kitchen is well-appointed for any cooking you want to do, and there is a great grocery store very close by. The apartment is cozy and very close to the center of town, and the host is super responsive to questions.

Hotel is well located. A 10 minute walk into town which worked for us and gave us a chance to experience the fresh Arctic air! Staff were friendly and generally did their best to help us during the stay. We paid to use the jacuzzi and it was really nice, with a fantastic view across Tromso and the mountains on the other side of the water.

Great location in Tromso. Close to restaurants and small shops. Specific area for baggage storage if you arrive before check in time. The room was very small though probably the smallest we stayed in Norway. However the complimentary breakfast absolutely makes up for the small room size. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had.

The location is within walking distance to Fjellheisen cable car station, host provided show shoe that you can use it for hiking around Fjellheisen. Fireplace provided warmth in Tromso cold weather. Heated bathroom and entrance area is great. Apartment gives a cosy atmosphere with all the soft lighting.

“Enter” owns/runs multiple hotels in Tromso. This is the most “budget” hotel, but was still $250/night when I stayed in November 2024. Overall what you’d expect from a private room in a backpacker’s hotel (small, basic, clean). No elevator so be prepared to carry your bags up the stairs.

The best choice in our Tromso winter vacation. Location is 5-10 minutes walk from every interesting corner of the city. Apartment was well equipped with comfortable kitchen. Service was very good (front desk particularly). Combined with affordable price - we definitely recommend.

the stuff where really nice. the room was clean. the hotel is in a beautiful location in the middle between lofoten to tromso. we had a great night rest there and our boy played the 130 years old piano. good value for money in Norway standard...

Very close to the city center (approx 10-15 mins walk, and there are buses as well). Nice and quiet area. The room was perfectly warm, there was proper heating. Norway prices can be high, especially in Tromso, but this place was good in price.

The apartment building is located across from Tromsø's shopping street, Storgata and near the Skippergata bus stop, which made traveling to/from the airport bus very convenient. The studio is clean, warm and comfortable.
