We chose this guesthouse because of its location. We stayed two nights. Tho host was very friendly. The room was big, bright and clean. The window was next to the highway but the traffic did not bother us, even when window was open. Breakfast was good and contained bread slices, crackers, butter, ham, salami, jam, egg omelet (or fried the next day), fruits. Also, a small yogurt and musli Coffee from machine., warm water and teabags. Apple and/or orange juice. In the town of Olderdalen the price of petroleum was much cheaper than in Tromsö

We had a small cabin for 2 persons, which exceeded our expectations. It has everything you need for a short stay after your trip. It was cozy and clean. No water/wc or shower in the cabin, but these facilities are in the main building- less than 100 m. Camping area is not crowded, so the facilities are always available without any waiting. There is also a possibility to use sauna, but we haven’t try it. Hostess is very friendly.

Manndalen Sjøbuer offers traditional Norwegian fisherman’s cottages by the Lyngen Fjord, 500 m from Løkvoll village.

It was amazing! Way better than I expected! Very cozy, warm and comfortable, located just by the sea, in the middle of auroras path. We saw awesome light shows just through your window every clouds free evening. The fjord looked different every day but always views ware breathtaking! The Owner was caring and helpful. I can't find words to fully appreciate this accommodation. This was my 3rd aurora hunting but this time we definitely hit the best ever place to stay. Yes, there was no sauna or fireplace but house was so absolutely cozy, it felt like a family just vacated it to make place for us... I sincerely hope, I'll be able to came back again here.
