The location is walking distance from everything. The breakfast is phenomenal and the special touch of dog treats on a plate made our day. We felt welcome and special. We also loved the little bakery and the freshly baked bread.

They even called to book for us at places we wanted to go to, recommended great restaurants around the area.

The uniquely designed Beach Lodge is located in Swakopmund and features a restaurant, bar and BBQ facilities. The hotel has a garden and offers uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean. Great beach hotel. It is what it says -- a great little hotel RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The pictures are true... our patio door walked right out onto that lovely green lawn and then to the beach. It was great that they offered a family room, it had a nice patio and small fridge and coffee/tea station. It wasn't the most elegant decor, but it was clean and completely met our needs for a beach get away. Free parking -- it was tight to get to our assigned spot, but the car gaurd was always on duty to help ease one into the space.
