Absolutely everything, the staff, the area, the beaches the food. It was all phenomenal. We had the buffet dinner and it was the best buffets we’d ever had. I think we went up 4/5 times (greedy brits). Absolutely beautiful location. Will 1000% be back. The staff are SO friendly. We took our 2 year old with us and the staff loved him. There was so much to do there. The spa was great, I had a lovely Elemis facial. The pools were clean and appealing. Very very well maintained. The staff definitely makes this place. Our room was lovely, had a beautiful jungle view.

We travel from Terengganu Town to Kg Merang hopping that would be nice to stay and relax for the weekend but the place was very disappointed all of us. wont go there anymore.. wasting energy and time.
The online booking is good especially by Booking.com; their price is a bit lower than the actual price and rent rates when done directly at the hotel. We stayed for 3 nights; but had to pay additional for the 2nd and 3rd night as we booked for only one day through booking.com. We booked Rimba hotel which we found as newly constructed and good for budget hotel users. The Kuala Terengganu town is clean and neat with very less population; we heard that there will be huge crowd during the eid vacation; but practically we could see the opposite. There were scanty visitors in almost all tourist attractions which we visited during the Eid ul Fitre and the following few days. We found the local people very cordial to the foreigners. There were numbers of mosque of different design in Terengganu. High rising buildings are very less. The state Terengganu has occupied a great part of the South China Sea.
a beautiful state but a lot more can be done to market the tourist sites. English should be included at all major roads and advertisements. Nasi Dagang and nasi kerabu were excellent as well as the famous keropok lekor. I visited Pulau Redang and it was a beautiful island but unfortunately many people from Terengganu have not visited it themselves which is a shame.The coral and the seaworld should be more protected.
Weekend in Kuala Terengganu is on Friday and Saturday, then most of the shop will close and as traveler outside Kuala Terengganu we can't visit most of their shop cause most of it are close.
Marang is basically a suburb of Kuala Terengganu. We just stayed there at night, so don't really have an opinion of it as a place to visit. It was nice to walk through the fishing village in the morning, though.
The island is great, the water is great, bubu villa is great. Unfortunately, the increasing number of boats and jetskis around long beach is affecting the water and enviroment quality. Continue this and the beauty of Perhentian Island will just become a myth to the later generations. We hope that the MB of Terengganu will undertake steps and measures to control this issue, before it is too late.
Terengganu has a lot of places to go! it was fun but there are some place tht quite hard to find because there is no properly signboard. I have been to Pasar Payang to walk around,i love it but the rubbish along the road was not shown tht the place is welcome for visitor
Best abt kuala terengganu its so windy, no traffic jam, and so many good food to try, what wasnt good is its so hot and most of the restaurants have no fan. Be prepared fr that!
A great place to visit for a short holiday. Food is cheap and superb, not to forget nasi dagang and keropok lekor of course. Its easy to move around in Kuala Terengganu and it also offers beautiful beaches for your relaxation.
I chose the wrong time of the month to travel to Kuala Terengganu. It’s the monsoon season and all recreational activities were put on hold. However we managed to visit pasar payang the central market and I bought several pieces of beautiful hand painted batik. Will come again next time for diving if God willing

The hosts of Ujana Damai were extremely friendly and hospitable, sending us map directions to the house, showering us with welcome gifts, and providing tips for places to visit and eat. We loved the decor, slept well on the comfortable beds, enjoyed ourselves in the pool, and appreciated very much the filtered water machine. We love being near Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, the airport, local stalls selling delicious food and fruits, within 30 minutes' drive to the city center, and of course the beautiful Terengganu coastline.
The house is very clean and comfortable. In addition, the rate is very affordable for an apartment with 3 bedrooms. Apartment Ladang Tok Pelam has always been my favorite place to stay whenever I travel to Terengganu. The management has improved their registration process as compared to previously. Now, the guests are no longer required to leave their driving licence at the guard house. Instead, we are given an access card which is truly convenient for the guests going in and out during their stay.

1. Check-in procedure is simple, fast and the check-in time is negotiable. 2. Streaming TV services provided and compatible with Unit Wifi provided. 3. Rooms are clean and comfortable. 4. The Gym is well equipped. 5. The environment is constantly ambient throughout the day. 6. The apartment is easily accessible (away from heavy traffic) and sits at the centre of most destinations within Kuala Terengganu. 7. The apartment is within walking distance of a few restaurants.
The facilities is in the centre of "Pusat Bandar in Kuala Terengganu", so no issue if in case you forgot to bring your phone charger (as I've experienced that). The room is clean & comfy, the toilet is clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this place if you plan for a solo trip. This place does not have an elevator, so if you have and elderly as your guest, then I would not recommend this place. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay there.

Alhamdulillah syukur so far the apartment and facilities are comfortable and clean. Every rooms including living room has air conditioning. Great tv channel, Netflix , Disney Hotstar. Wifi. Can cook with the kitchen utensils , cuckoo , washing machine prepared by the great host en Wan fazli. Only the weather was not so good due to 🌧️ raining season. Need to go home as soon as possible after 3D2N stay to avoid flood. Pray for Terengganu n Kelantan.

We are Bikers group from Johor state at south of Malaysia, we really enjoyed the invorement, expecialy beach😍😍. The area was Very quiet, it's 2 km from Kuala Terengganu. Very easy to get private transport. Hotel room is normal like what we see at beach site chalet. Don't expect to much. Enjoy single movement, the staff was very friendly, and respect, it's culture of Terengganu people's. Planning to visit again with family.
room is ok, but if the towel is rotten like if you don't wash it, put a little bit of soflan to give it a little fragrance. The view of the room is ok, it looks like a little seaview together with the zinc roof. Breakfast is ok, delicious. The first day nasi lemak, the second day there is nasi dagang and terengganu laksa. This hotel is close to all places, easy to go anywhere.
Marang
The hotel is really close to the beach, though we can’t swim, we did take a stroll along it. The location of the hotel to Kuala Terengganu is not more than 20 mins travel (we chartered a bus). And there were so many warungs (restaurants) nearby, it would be perfect if we had taken own car instead of a bus. Rooms got aircond, no problem.

The location is close to Kuala Terengganu city center. The apartment was clean and spacious. Free wifi was stable and the speed quite decent. Also complete with rice cooker, water dispenser, microwave and kitchen utensil. I didn't cook during my stay but I think this unit is great for people who plan to cook on their own.
We stayed in a few hotels in Terengganu for a week visit. This is the only hotel that we could sleep soundly, happily without even a single complaint. The room was clean, the facilities were great, just beside 7e, near Pasar Payang. The only thing is the stairs you have to climb up. Other than that, awesome!
