We enjoyed the sizable pool where it was possible to do about 25m laps in clean water. Location was great with town only a few minutes drive away and many Grab food delivery options available. Special mention of Fennylevia Thomas who spared no effort to retrieve a small location tracker that we had left behind and proactively arranged to courier back to my home address. Overall, the stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.

To go everywhere, better use taxi or grab,because the building like malls are quite far... We used grab car, what i like most, driver and johor people are nice and friendly... best!! Sure come back here n spent more days here.... after spent whole day at legoland, dont forget to drop by to mahkota crown, infront istana (i dont remember) not far danga bay river are nice during the night, with all the lights....

You can go sightseeing of old buildings, eatery places and shopping sprees. There's much to venture in Johor bahru. In jbcc, you might bring your kids to angry bird theme park while at the same time you want to shop. Easy access of uber transport. For singaporeans, it will be easy to access there as it links with ciq building.
It's good that Johor Bahru is fast turning into a modern city with lots of places to shop, eat and play. However the city planners should also look into upgrading and promoting other tourists attractions like the zoo, fruits and animal farms to give tourists different experiences.
Indeed, Johor Bahru makes some slow progress to become a greener and more pedestrian friendly and better organized. Chinatown is a nice place to walk along with a few galleries and nice cafes. Otherwise, it remains a town with massive traffic jams, only very few places to meet for a good beer, poor public transport, mushrooming of new constructions of condominiums, which nobody needs and a hectic third-world bus stations (local buses at CIQand long distance station Larkin)
There are many interesting places in Johor.. Perhaps the respective authorities could play their roles to improve the outlook and available facilities at those places.. child friendly accomodations and clean atmosphere are very crucial for most parents.
A place for shopping & food. If you wanna shop for branded goods,Johor Premium Oulet has it all. If you wanna shop for raya, Angsana is recommended. Foodwise, nearby Angsana,Leva Leur Cafe is nice if you wish to indulge in "makan lambak" which means food is being put on the table instead of bowls & plates. For nice asam pedas, there's one in Angsana Mall. And for seafood, I recommend Stulang.
It's a quite city, not much of entertainment or restaurant. The people was honest n fair compare to KL people. Other than legoland, KSL mall n KSL resort there is not much to do at Johor Bahru.
Kluang is a nice place to visit but I went during holidays so most of the premises were closed. Food is always good in Johore. I love the creative murals there. But the homestay was not to my expectations..

I had a fantastic stay at The Platino Residence! The apartment was spacious, and clean, and felt like a home away from home. I loved having a fully equipped kitchen along with the convenience of a washing machine and a balcony with a nice view. Location-wise, it’s ideal as it is close to Paradigm Mall. The unit is clean and well equipped. The host Jerry was friendly and met us on arrival and showed us the unit and surrounding. The unit is above a shopping mall with plenty dinning options and there is a super market- Jaya Grocer. If you are not driving and arriving from Singapore by public transport it is a short walk from the Johore immigration complex to the apartment
Location is amazing, the building and facilities are very good. The apartment itself is OK. No smell, adequately clean and good water pressure. The location, the ease of parking, and facility qualities are good. The view to the park with the crown is the creme de la creme. I love these Johor crown decos in their parks. Going off to a bit tangent here.
Overall acceptable stay for 2 nights in Forest City Johor Malaysia for this price. Besides the balcony, the apartment was cosy and nice for 2 nights' short trip. Good for small family or groups who may like to cook and do laundry. ( We did not cook and wash but there's a small electric stove and washing machine)
The location is superb. The hotel is linked with mall and located in the middle of food centre, so it's very easy for you to find food and groceries. The room was excellent with comfy and spacious bed, plus they have very nice swimming pool and gym too. Definitely a great place to stay if you visit Johor Bahru.
Booked the place but agent informed it was duplicated booking so they arrange another aprtment (Macrolink), the apartment feels like permium condo, facility is great and secure (you need card to access car park). Nice view from the room where you can see the full view of Johor. Rooms are comfy, no complains at all.

I love everything about Prestigo Hotel. I and my wife stayed 14 nights here and it was amazing. The staff are courteous and friendly, they helped with all we needed from them. It's a place we will definitely be the next time we visit Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Location wise near to key areas like Woodlands, Sg, as well as, Midvalley Southkey. Good accessibility even though Hotel is nestled among the EPF, Johor Gardens, near to Johor Zoo, etc. Breakfast has sufficient good spread. Easy to take on Grab eHailing Rides.

Love the location as it is away from the busyness of Johor Sentral. The hotel is near some shopping centre such as Angsana. Not only that, but the hotel is also connected to Paradigm Mall. Finding food will not be an issue.
I like the location as it's near to the Johor Premium Outlet, which is only btwn 10-15mins drive. I really think the hotel should consider providing a shuttle to the Outlets to attract more people staying at the hotel.
I Think this is one of the best Budget friendly hotel in Johor. Stayed for a week for work. Location superb. Cleanliness is good. Daily cleanup & freshtowel. Ample parking. Couldnt ask for more. Will stay here again
