Virket som livet i Johor Bahru var kun beregnet på varemagasiner med bil frem og tilbake. Skal du gå noen steder må dette gjøres mest langs veien. Det er utrolig mye trafikk der, alltid kø, pluss at man nesten er avhengig av bil for å komme seg fra den ene plassen til den andre. Må si like ved hotellet, fant vi en pub, hvor de serverte snacks, mat, vin, øl, alkohol generelt. Disse var også muslimer, veldig hyggelige og serviceminded. Husker ikke navnet på pub'en, men en stor stjerne til dem. Til Singapore er grensekontrollene så tungvinte så det vil ta dere 4 timer hver vei å komme inn til Singapore, selv om Singapore bare er 2 mil unna. Tar du buss inn til Singapore fra Larkin bussholdeplass, må du gå av bussen så ta vare på billetten din for grensekontroll i Malaysia, ned og på bussen igjen, så bussen over brua, ny grensekontroll (lang kø, ca. 2 timer) ned og vente på bussen inn til Singapore med ditt bussnr. På, ca. 1 times venting. Det går ikke an å ta en annen buss enn det nummeret du har på billetten! Det går heller ikke an å gå inn, må ta buss, eller bil/ Taxi.
