Villa Kotlar is a beautiful boutique hotel, an easy 15/20 minutes walk just north of downtown/central Ohrid. It is in a quiet neighborhood with free parking 2 minutes at the end of the street. The building looks new, beautifully decorated AND includes an elevator! Breakfast was good. Unfortunately it was too cold to take advantage of the lovely swimming pool at the back of the property. Highly recommend, would stay again.

Our daughters are picky eaters, and satisfying their tastes can be challenging, even at home. Choosing something from a menu often ends up being a fiasco. At this amazing hotel, we experienced exceptional understanding in the restaurant. Since we couldn't read the menu in Albanian and didn't know what to order, the incredibly welcoming staff assisted us, turning a typically problematic situation into a delightful experience. Dining here was delicious, and the staff made us feel comfortable and well-cared for. We highly recommend booking accommodation at this hotel with half board.
