We were upgraded to an apartment and it was amazing - spacious, comfortable, luxurious. The hotel is small, but has everything - good breakfast, wonderful staff (especially Boyan who was very kind and helpful and recommended many beautiful spots in the area), and a small spa, which is booked individually, so we enjoyed an hour in the spa to ourselves. There is a free parking in front of the hotel and it's close to the black lake. We've had an amazing experience and highly recommend this place.

I have stayed in many 5 star hotels in different parts of the world, the hotel structure is incredibly clean despite being old. It is much more difficult to keep an old structure clean. Star, star, star, many thanks for the cleanliness. The staff are attentive, especially the gentleman at the restaurant who was incredibly positive and sincerely interested in us. (I apologize for not remembering his name) He added incredible warmth to our holiday. Since the hotel is in the center, we had easy access to everything.

Situado no meio da impressionante região montanhosa de Durmitor, na fronteira de 2 Parques Nacionais protegidos pela UNESCO, o Hotel Polar Star disponibiliza apartamentos elegantes e quartos espaçosos... Visited with kids and on the first day rhe kids got sick and we had to leave early, so the staff helped us with everything and even charged us just for basic costs, and then we forgot some personal items while in hurry they went out of their way to ship it to us. I can say that this is one of the most friendly staff I have ever encountered in my hotel stays so far. Also the food in the restourant is amaizing. I highly recommend this place!

I don't often give a hotel 10/10, but I cannot fault this hotel. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and I really liked the asphetic of the room - lots of wood but also very modern. I was also able to park my motorbike in their yard.
